Bon tricot!

Hi, from the pattern is says "change to circular needle size 4 mm and knit pattern in the round and inc 5 sts mid front (these sts are for cutting up afterwards. Do not knit into pattern). If these stitches are not knitted into the pattern how does one ensure that the yarn is not in the wrong place for the next time it is used?
13.05.2023 - 17:28DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sandra, these stitches are not included in the pattern so that the pattern doesn't continue on them when cutting them. These should be worked with the same color as the other stitches in the row, but shouldn't be counted when working the colour pattern. You can see how to work these stitches here: https://www.garnstudio.com/video.php?id=85&lang=en; they shouldn't affect the colour threads. Happy knitting!
