Heute ist endlich dieser schicke Hut fertig geworden. Ich hatte mit einer 4,5mm großen Häkelnadel angefangen, da ich anscheinend sehr eng (oder verkrampft) häkel, war der Hut damit viel zu klein. Also alles wieder auf Anfang und mit einer 6er nochmal. Die Größe ist nun perfekt. Und ich habe die letzte Runde fm rückwärts gehäkelt, also Hut nach der vorletzten Runde umgedreht und wieder zurück gehäkelt, ist ein super Abschluss, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Dear Patricia, hat is worked with 1 strand each of both qualities hold together as one. Bomull-Lin is aran/10 ply (8 wpi) and Cotton Viscose is a sport /5ply (12 wpi). You will find here more informations about our yarns. Happy crocheting!

I find if you are not going to use the required yarn specified, you must make adjustments. Another hat I made that used Bomull-Lin, the yarn I used was not that, and I doubled up on the strands doing the brim and that did the trick to make the brim curl.

Hat: Round 1: Crochet 4 ch with crochet hook size 4 mm with 1 thread of each yarn quality, then 7 tr in the first ch, finish with 1 sl st in third ch = 8 tr Round 2: Read Crochet info! 2 tr in each tr = 16 tr Round 3: 2 tr in each tr = 32 tr Round 4: *1 tr in first tr, 2 tr in next tr*, repeat from *-* = 48 tr Round 5: *1 tr in each of the first 2 tr, 2 tr in next tr*, repeat from *-* = 64 tr Round 6: 1 tr in each tr, but inc 6-12 tr evenly distributed = 70-76 tr Round 7: 3 ch (= 1 tr), 1 ch, *skip 1 tr, 1 tr in tr, 1 ch*, repeat from *-* = 35-38 tr Round 8: *1 dc in ch, 1 dc in tr*, repeat from *-* = 70-76 dc Round 9: 3 ch in 1st dc, 1 tr back in last dc on previous round, 1 tr in 3rd dc, 1 tr back in second dc, 1 tr in fifth dc, 1 tr back in fourth dc, continue like this and end round with a sl st in the 3rd ch in beg of round (= cross-tr).
