Hej Unni, Du tager bredden 57 (60-63) x 2 så får du brystvidden. God fornøjelse!

Hoi Hilde.

Knitting Tension: 21 sts x 26 rows on needle size 4 mm in pattern = 10 x 10 cm Hem: 4 cm charcoal grey stocking st, P 1 row (= folding edge, measure piece from here), 1 round stocking st in charcoal grey and then 3.5 cm in stripes. Stripes: worked in stocking st as follows: *1 st light grey, 1 st charcoal grey*, repeat from *-*. Pattern: See diagram. The diagram shows the pattern from the RS side. Front and back piece: Knitted in the round and cut for armhole and mid front afterward. Cast on 214-218-228 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with charcoal grey and work Hem. Change to circular needle size 4 mm and continue in M.1, at the same time inc 5 sts mid front (to be cut afterward and not included in pattern) and 26-34-36 sts evenly on round = 240-252-264 sts (+ 5 sts). After M.1 continue in M.2. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 35-38-41 cm complete piece in M.3. At the same time when piece measures 46-49-51 cm inc 5 sts each side for armhole (to be cut for armholes afterward and not included in pattern – make sure to have the 5 sts for cutting mid front) = 120-126-132 sts (+5 sts) on front piece and 120-126-132 sts on back piece. When piece measures 69-72-75 cm cast off the middle 30-32-32 sts + 5 sts to be cut on front piece, for neck and complete back and forth on needle. Dec to shape the neckline each side on every other row: 2 sts 1 time and 1 st 3 times. At the same time when piece measures 72-75-78 cm cast of the middle 36-38-38 sts on back for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline each side on next row. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 74-77-80 cm. Sleeve: Knitted round on double pointed needles. Cast on 46-48-50 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with charcoal grey and work Hem. Change to needle size 4 mm and continue in M.1 – make sure to place a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve- at the same time inc 8-8-8 sts evenly on first round = 54-56-58 sts. At the same time after Hem inc 2 sts mid under arm a total of 32-31-32 times on every 3rd and 4th * round alternately = 118-118-120 sts – incorporate the new sts in pattern as you go along. After M.1 continue in M.2. When piece measures 39-39-38 cm work M.4 and then complete piece in charcoal grey. When piece measures 49-49-48 cm work 2 cm in reverse stocking st = edge for sewing on sleeve to body piece. Cast off and knit the other sleeve. Assembly: Insert a marking thread in the middle of the inc sts for armhole each side and mid front. Make 2 seams each side on your sewing machine, the first seam ½ st from the MT and the other one ½ st from the first one. Cut the piece between these for armholes and mid front. Sew shoulder seams. Front edges: Pick up approx 130 sts on needle size 3 mm with charcoal grey along left front piece and work 3 cm stocking st, P 1 row, and work 3 cm stocking st back and forth on needle, cast off. Repeat along right front piece, but after 1 cm make 7-8 buttonholes evenly distributed on row. 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row. Remember buttonholes on both sides of Hem. Fold Hem double towards WS and fasten. Neckline: Pick up approx 100 sts round the neck on needle size 3 mm with charcoal grey and continue as follows back and forth on needle: 2.5 cm stocking st with charcoal grey, 1 row stocking st in light grey, P 1 row (= folding edge), 2.5 cm stocking st in charcoal grey, cast off. Fold double towards WS and fasten. Set in sleeves from the RS as follows: sew in the last row before the edge in reverse stocking sts on sleeves to the first row after the seam in the sts for cutting on body piece. Turn the jumper inside out and sew the piece in stocking sts over the cutting edge on body piece. Fold Hem at bottom of body piece and sleeves double towards WS and fasten. Sew on buttons. |
