What does 2 sl in each dc mean? Specifically sl
19.04.2018 - 03:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mary, I couldn't find any "2 sl" but on 2nd round you crochet 2 stitches in each dc, ie 2 dc in each dc = 16 dc at the end of round 2. Happy crocheting!

Was the hat in the picture of DROPS 93-36 actually made from the instructions on the same page?? Not only do the instructions not make sense and poorly written but they do not appear to match the photo. This in particular does not make sense. * ch 3, 1 dc in the 1st of these ch 3, skip over approx. 3 cm, 1 sc in next st *, repeat * - * and finish with ch 3, 1 dc in 1st ch, skip over approx. 3 cm, 1 sl st in 1st sc at start of row. Many thanks and with regards, Hope Metzler

Dear Hope, the hat in picture is the one in the written pattern, worked top down. The picot edge is worked as shown in the video below. Happy crocheting!
