Can this be done in one colour
04.09.2021 - 20:24DROPS Design answered:
Dear Philomena, as you have only one color there will be no stripes in the design. You should be able to work in one colour, but in that case you'd need approx. 500-500-750 gr of that colour, which would be 10-10-15 balls of that colour (you need many yarn balls due to working with 2 strands). Although maybe you'd need a bit less for the larger size, it's only an approximation. Happy crochetting!

I think my question wasn\'t clear. Do you use a single strand of alpaca throughout, or do you use a double strand of alpaca throughout. The instructions about this are not clear. Sorry to seem so dumb. Thank you for replying so promptly. If it is to be 2 threads throughout I think it would be clearer if it said so in the materials list, ie yarn is used double throughout. Thank you again.

Deat Marcia You do use a double strand of Alpaca throughout. Thank you for your feedback. Happy Knitting!

Hi Marcia, Alpaca is a 5-ply, sports yarn and the whole poncho is worked with Alpaca. Happy crocheting!

Salve a tutti.

Buon lavoro!!
