Waarom staat er breinld 4?2mm snap ik niet

Dag Anita,

Also - it appears that the symbols or the descriptions in the Chart are reversed for the K2tog and S1K1Pass based on current standards - is it possible this pattern hasn't been looked at in a really long time?

I am making Size Large of Drops 56-21 using yarn similar to Drops Muskat. Using the pattern as written, the Neck Edge decreases for the Front vs. the Back do not match. The Front goes from 113 stiches to 48 live shoulder stiches, 17 bind off, 48 live shoulder stiches) - then with the stated reductions the shoulders end up 18 stiches. The Back goes from 113 to 35 live, 43 bind off, 35 live and with the stated reduction 31 stiches. This will not line up. Is there a correction?

Dear Mrs Cersosimo, on front piece you are casting off 17 sts for neck + 3 sts x 2 + 2 sts x 3 + 1 st x 3 = 113 -17 - (6+6+3)x2= 33 sts remain for each shoulder. On back piece you cast off 43 sts + 2 sts 1 time = 113 - 43 - 2x2= 33 sts. Hope this will help. Happy knitting!

Knitting tension: 14 stitches x 26 rows with needle size 4 mm and stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm. (20 stitches x 32 rows with needle size 2.5 mm and stocking stitch = 10 x 10 cm.) Remember needle size is only a guide! NOTE! To maintain the knitting tension, it can help to purl twisted instead of purl, or every 2nd of 4th row worked with twisted purl. Ridge/Garter stitch (back and forth on needle): 1 ridge = Knit 2 rows. Ridge/Garter stitch (in the round): 1 ridge = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round. Pattern: See diagram (1 diagram = 1 repeat). The pattern in diagram is seen from right side. --------------------------------------------------------- Front piece: Front and back pieces are worked back and forth because the yarn has a tendency to twist when worked in the round. Cast on 87-93-100 (126-132--139) stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side for seam - not worked into pattern) with needle size 4 mm (2.5 mm) and mustard (mustard) Cotton (Tynn) Chenille and work 1 ridge. Then work Pattern upwards as follows: S+L (S+L): 1 edge stitch, start at arrow A and work Pattern, finish with 1 edge stitch, M (M): 1 edge stitch, start at arrow B and work Pattern, finish with 1 edge stitch. Remember the knitting tension. When piece measures 28-28-29 (28--28-29) cm cast off in each side for armhole every 2nd row: 3 stitches x 1 (1), 2 stitches x 1 (3), 1 stitch x 2 (4) = 73-79- 86 (100-106-113) stitches. When piece measures 45-46-47 (45- 46-47) cm cast off the middle 9-11-12 (14-16-17) stitches for neck. Then cast off towards neck every 2nd row: 3 stitches x 1 (2), 2 stitches x 2 (3), 1 stitch x 3 (3). Cast off when piece measures 52-53-54 (52-53-54) cm. Back piece: Cast on 87-93-100 (126-132-139) stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side for seam) with needle size 4 mm (2.5 mm) and mustard (mustard) Cotton (Tynn) Chenille and work 1 ridge. Then work Pattern upwards as follows: 1 edge stitch, start at arrow B in all sizes, 1 edge stitch. When piece measures 28-28-29 (28-28-29) cm cast off for armhole as for front piece = 73-79-86 (100-106-113) stitches. When piece measures 50-51-52 (50-51-52) cm cast off the middle 25-27-28 (40-42-43) stitches for back of neck. Then cast off 2 stitches in each side on next row towards neck. Cast off when piece measures 52-53-54 (52-53-54) cm. Sleeve: Cast on 38-38-40 (52-52-54) stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side for seam) with needle size 4 mm (2.5 mm) and mustard (mustard) Cotton (Tynn) Chenille and work 1 ridge. Then work stocking stitch upwards. At the same time, when piece measures 3 (3) cm increase in each side: 1 stitch x 16-17-16 (23-25-24) for S+M (S+M): Alternately every 5th and 6th row (Every 5th row), L (L): Every 6th row (Every 5th row). = 70-72-72 (98-102-102) stitches. When piece measures 45-44-43 (44-44-44) cm cast off for sleeve cap in each side every 2nd row: 3 stitches x 3 (2-3-3), 2 stitches x 3 (9-7-7), 3 stitches x 3 (2-3-3), cast off. Piece measures approx. 52-51-50 (52-52-52) cm. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Sew sleeves to body and sew sleeve and side seams in one go. Knit up approx. 65-75 (90-100) stitches around neck with double pointed needles size 4 mm (2.5 mm) with mustard (mustard) Cotton (Tynn) Chenille and work 1 ridge, cast off. Crochet edges: Work with double (single) yarn from right side and with dark mustard (dark mustard) Muskat and hook size 4 mm (3 mm) as follows: 1 row of double crochets around garter stitch edge at bottom of body, at bottom of sleeves and around the neck as follows: 120-130 (160-170) double crochets around body, 30-35 (40-45) double crochets at bottom of sleeves, 60-70 (70-80) double crochets around neck. Then work the next row as follows: * 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the first of these 3 chain stitches, 3 double crochets *, repeat from *-*. |
