Hallo liebes Drops-Team!

---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. Choose diagram for correct size. DECREASE TIP (applies to sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows: Work until 3 stitches remain before marker thread, knit 2 together, knit 2 (marker thread is between these 2 stitches), slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: In this pattern long and short needles have been used, begin with fitting length and switch as needed. Work double neck edge and yoke in the round on circular needle from mid back, work top down. When yoke is done, divide stitches for body and sleeves. Work body down wards in the round on circular needle while putting the sleeves aside. Then work sleeves downwards in the round on needle. Fold the neck edge double against the wrong side and fasten. DOUBLE NECK EDGE: Cast on 88-92-96-100-104-108 stitches on circular needle size 5 mm with 1 strand of each colour of DROPS Flora. Switch to circular needle size 4 mm (cast on on a larger needle to get an elastic cast-on edge). Work rib in the round (knit 1 twisted/purl 1) for 9-9-9-11-11-11 cm. The neck edge is folded in towards wrong side and assembled to form a double neck edge of approx. 4-4-4-5-5-5 cm. Now insert 1 marker mid back, measure yoke from this marker. YOKE: Switch to circular needle size 5 mm. Work in stocking stitch while at the same time on first round increasing 12-16-16-16-16-16 stitches evenly = 100-108-112-116-120-124 stitches. When piece measures 2-2-3-3-3-3 cm from marker, work PATTERN - read explanation above. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work 1st row in A.1 25-27-28-29-30-31 times in total in the round on yoke (= 50-54-56-58-60-62 stitches increased) = 150-162-168-174-180-186 stitches. Work 2nd row in A.1 and decrease 3-1-0-0-0-1 stitches evenly, decrease by knitting 2 together = 147-161-168-174-180-185 stitches. Work in stocking stitch until piece measures 7-7-8-8-9-9 cm from marker. Work 1st row in A.2 21-23-24-29-36-37 times in total in the round on yoke (= 42-46-48-58-72-74 stitches increased) = 189-207-216-232-252-259 stitches. Work 2nd row in A.2 and decrease 0-0-0-4-0-1 stitches evenly, decrease by knitting 2 together = 189-207-216-228-252-258 stitches. Work in stocking stitch until piece measures 13-14-14-16-16-17 cm from marker. Work 1st row in A.3 21-23-27-38-36-43 times in total in the round on yoke (= 42-46-54-76-72-86 stitches increased) = 231-253-270-304-324-344 stitches. Work 2nd row in A.3 and adjust number of stitches so that there are 232-256-272-306-322-342 stitches on needle. Work in stocking stitch until piece measures 20-22-23-24-26-28 cm from marker. Now divide the piece as explained below. DIVIDING FOR BODY AND SLEEVES: Work 34-38-40-44-48-52 stitches in stocking stitch (= approx. half back piece), slip the next 48-52-56-64-64-66 stitches on 1 thread for sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8-10-12 new stitches on row (= in the side under sleeve), work 68-76-80-89-97-105 stitches in stocking stitch (= front piece), slip the next 48-52-56-64-64-66 stitches on 1 thread for sleeve, cast on 6-6-8-8-10-12 new stitches on row (= in the side under sleeve) and work the remaining 34-38-40-45-49-53 stitches in stocking stitch (= approx. half back piece). Finish body and sleeves separately. Now measure piece from here! BODY: = 148-164-176-194-214-234 stitches. Work in stocking stitch until piece measures 21-21-22-21-21-21 cm from division. Continue on circular needle size 4 mm, work rib (= knit 1 twisted/purl 1) while at the same time increasing 20-20-22-22-26-28 stitches evenly on 1st round = 168-184-198-216-240-262 stitches. When rib measures 6-6-6-7-7-7 cm cast off. Jumper measures approx. 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm from shoulder. SLEEVES: Slip the 48-52-56-64-64-66 stitches from thread in one side of piece on double pointed needles/a circular needle size 5 mm and pick in addition up 1 stitch in each of the 6-6-8-8-10-12 new stitches cast on under sleeve = 54-58-64-72-74-78 stitches. Insert 1 marker thread in the middle of the 6-6-8-8-10-12 new stitches under sleeve (mid under sleeve). Use marker thread when decreasing under sleeve. Begin round at the marker thread mid under sleeve, and work in stocking stitch in the round, AT THE SAME TIME when sleeve measures 4-4-4-4-4-4 cm from division, decrease 2 stitches mid under sleeve - read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 2½-2½-2-1-1-1 cm 5-5-6-10-10-11 times in total = 44-48-52-52-54-56 stitches. Continue to work until sleeve measures approx. 35-34-33-33-31-29 cm from division, approx. 9-9-9-10-10-10 cm remain until finished measurements. Continue on double pointed needle size 4 mm, work rib (= knit 1 twisted/purl 1) while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 6-6-6-8-8-8 stitches evenly on 1st round = 50-54-58-60-62-64 stitches. When rib measures 9-9-9-10-10-10 cm cast off. Sleeve measures approx. 44-43-42-43-41-39 cm from division. ASSEMBLY: Fold rib at the top of neck down on inside of garment. Fasten rib to get a double neck edge. To avoid a tight neck edge that sticks out it is important to keep the seam elastic. |
