Vil man da måtte tenke 2 masker før merkemaskene A7.

31.01.2024 - 12:45DROPS Design answered:

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.10. The diagrams show all rows in the pattern from the right side. INCREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 108 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 24) = 4.5. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after alternately each 4th and 5th stitch. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth, top down with a lace pattern. Cast off with an I-cord edge. SHAWL: Cast on 5-5 stitches with circular needle size 5.5 mm and DROPS Air. Work A.1 - read PATTERN. When A.1 is finished there are 13 stitches. Work A.2, A.3 and A.4 – AT THE SAME TIME insert a marker-thread on each side of the 3 stitches in A.3. When A.2, A.3 and A.4 are finished there are 37 stitches. Work A.5, A.6 until there is 1 stitch left before the marker-thread, A.7, A.3 (= stitches between the marker-threads), A.8, A.9 until there are 4 stitches left and A.10. When A.5 and A.10 are finished there are 73 stitches. Repeat A.5 to A.10 like this until the piece measures approx. 30-34 cm measured down the mid-stitch. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work 1 row of stocking stitch and increase 40-44 stitches evenly spaced (approx. 20-22 stitches on each side of the mid-stitch) - read INCREASE TIP. Cast off with I-CORD as described below. I-CORD CAST-OFF: The I-cord edge is worked from the right side. The edge needs to be loose so the shawl has a nice shape and hangs neatly. Make sure the stitches are loose but even. Work as follows: * Knit 2, knit 2 twisted together. Move the 3 stitches back onto the left needle (in the same order) *, work from *-* until there are 3 stitches left on the right needle. Move these 3 stitches back onto the left needle and cast them off. Cut and fasten the strand. |
