Pozdrawiamy!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CHAIN STITCH: If you work outermost on the hook the chain stitch will often be too tight; 1 chain stitch should be as long as 1 double/half-treble crochet is wide. CROCHET INFORMATION: At the beginning of each row, replace the first half-treble crochet with 2 chain stitches; at the end of the row work the last half-treble crochet in/around the 2 chain stitches at the beginning of previous row. At the beginning of each round, replace the first half-treble crochet with 2 chain stitches, finish the round with 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch at the beginning of the round. DECREASE TIP: Decrease by working 2 half-treble crochets together: * Make 1 yarn over, insert the hook through the next stitch, pick up the strand *, work from *-* 1 more time, make 1 yarn over and pull it through all 5 loops on the hook (= 1 stitch decreased). ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- HAT – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth until the edge is finished. The ends are sewn together and the hat is finished in the round. EDGE: Use crochet hook size 4 mm and DROPS Soft Tweed, colour marzipan. Work 32 chain stitches - read CHAIN STITCH and CROCHET INFORMATION. ROW 1: Work 1 half-treble crochet in the 3rd chain stitch from the hook, 1 half-treble crochet in each of the remaining 29 chain stitches = 31 stitches. Turn. ROW 2: Work 2 chain stitches, 1 half-treble crochet around each stitch on the side of the piece that is towards you – the last half-treble crochet is worked around the 2 chain stitches at the beginning of the previous row. Turn. Repeat row 2 until the piece measures 50-52 cm (adjust to desired length – the edge is folded double lengthwise and should not be too short or the hat will be too tight). REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Cut the strand and pull it through the last stitch. Fold the piece with the first and last rows together. Sew the short sides together, edge to edge to form a ring. The edge is finished and the hat continued from the one side. HAT: Use colour marzipan and work double crochets evenly in the outermost stitches along the edge (approx.100-104 double crochets, which can be adjusted up or down if necessary - read DECREASE TIP). The hat is measured from here. Change to colour cookie dough and work 1 half-treble crochet in each stitch, adjusting the number of stitches to 100-104 stitches. Continue with half-treble crochets in the round until the hat measures 9-10 cm, there is 6-7 cm left to finished length. Continue to decrease as follows: ROUND 1: Work half-treble crochets and decrease 22-20 stitches evenly on the round = 72-80 stitches. ROUND 2: Work 1 half-treble crochet in each stitch. ROUND 3: Work half-treble crochets and decrease 22-20 stitches evenly on the round = 56-64 stitches. ROUND 4: * Work 1 half-treble crochet in each of the next 5-6 stitches, work 2 half-treble crochets together *, work from *-* to the end of the round = 48-56 stitches. ROUND 5: * Work 1 half-treble crochet in each of the next 4-5 stitches, work 2 half-treble crochets together *, work from *-* to the end of the round = 40-48 stitches. ROUND 6: * Work 1 half-treble crochet in each of the next 3-4 stitches, work 2 half-treble crochets together *, work from *-* to the end of the round = 32-40 stitches. ROUND 7: * Work 1 half-treble crochet in each of the next 2-3 stitches, work 2 half-treble crochets together *, work from *-* to the end of the round = 24-32 stitches. ROUND 8: * Work 1 half-treble crochet in each of the next 1-2 stitches, work 2 half-treble crochets together *, work from *-* to the end of the round = 16-24 stitches. SIZE S/M: ROUND 9: Work all half-treble crochets together 2 and 2 = 8 stitches. Cut the strand, leaving an end long enough to sew the top of the hat together. SIZE M/L: ROUND 9: * Work 1 half-treble crochet in each of the next 2 stitches, work 2 half-treble crochets together *, work from *-* to the end of the round = 16 stitches. ROUND 10: Work all half-treble crochets together 2 and 2 = 8 stitches. Cut the strand, leaving an end long enough to sew the top of the hat together. ALL SIZES: The hat measures approx. 15-17 cm from the edge and approx. 31-33 cm from the bottom. Fold the edge up to the right side; the hat now measures 23-25 cm. |
