Our videos do not have sound. We are a worldwide company and our videos are watched by people speaking endless of different languages and many do not understand English. So since there is not a given language for us to use, we instead have written instructions to accompany the video, and then there is no sound to disturb while watching.

I would assume you would purl on the even numbered rows, but I don't recognize what stitch you are doing. Looks like a yarn over, and then some kind of twisting of right needle from front to back. Is it a laborious version of the purl stitch?

Dear Deb, you are correct, you purl all sts from WS - there are different way to purl sts, you can find 3 videos showing how to purl a st under the tab "video" on the right side of the pattern. Happy knitting!

Chart A.1, A.2 and A.3 in DROPS 0-1108
In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.1, A.2 and A.3 for a shoulder piece in DROPS Extra 0-1108. In the video we show chart A.1 one time (= 7 sts), chart A.2 two times (= 12 sts) and chart A.3 one time (= 6 sts). We work 3 garter st in each side and have already worked the chart 1 time in height so that you can see the pattern better. REMEMBER - you will also need to read the pattern to be able to follow.
