Gauge: 17 sts on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 cm

Pattern: See chart (1 chart = 1 repeat). The pattern is seen from the right side.

Garter Stitch, when knitting in the round: *Rnd 1, knit. Rnd 2, purl *. Repeat from * - *.

Rib: * K 3, P 3 *. Repeat from * - *.

Front: Cast on 104-110 (116-120) sts on smaller needles and knit 4 rows garter st, increasing 30 sts evenly distributed over the center 40 sts on the last row = 134-140 (146-150) sts. Change to larger needles and establish pattern as follows; 1 edge st (knit in garter st throughout), 31-34 (37-39) sts stockinette st, Pattern 1 (70 sts), 31-34 (37-39) sts stockinette st, 1 edge st (knit in garter st throughout). Knit in pattern as established, following chart for Pattern 1 for the center 70 sts. When the work measures 43-45 (46-49) cm bind off for armhole on each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1-1 (2-2) times, 1 st 2-3 (3-3) times = 120-124 (126-130) sts. At the same time, when the work measures 63-65 (66-69) cm dec 30 sts evenly distributed over the center 56-56 (58-58) sts, then bind off the center 26-26 (28-28) sts for the neck on the next row. Bind off at each neck edge every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1 time, 1 st 1 time. 26-28 (28-30) sts remain on the shoulder. Bind off when the work measures 68-70 (72-75) cm.

Back: Cast on 104-110 (116-120) sts on smaller needles and knit 4 rows garter st. Change to larger needles and stockinette st. When the work measures 43-45 (46-49) cm bind off for armhole each side every other row: 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 1-1 (2-2) times, 1 st 2-3 (3-3) times = 90-94 (96-100) sts. When the work measures 66-68 (70-73) cm bind off the center 34-34 (36-36) sts for the neck. Bind off 2 sts at each neck edge on the next row. 26-28 (28-30) sts remain on the shoulder. Bind off when the work measures 68-70 (72-75) cm.

Sleeve: Cast on 54-54 (60-60) sts on smaller double pointed needles; join and place a marker at the join. Knit rib for 6 cm. Change to larger double pointed needles and stockinette st. After the rib, inc 1 st each side of marker 13-13 (12-12) times:
Sizes S/M+M/L: every 3 cm
Sizes XL-XXL: alternately every 3 cm and every 4 cm
= 80-80 (84-84) sts. When the work measures 51 cm bind off 2 sts each side of marker and knit the rest back and forth on the needles. Bind off on each side for sleeve cap every other row: 3 sts 2 times, and then 2 sts on each side until the sleeve measures 57-58 (59-59) cm, bind off.

Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 108-114 sts (divisible by 6 sts) around the neck on smaller double pointed needles; join and purl 1 row, knit 1 row, then knit rib for 15 cm, bind off loosely in rib. Sew in the sleeves and sew side seams.

Bon tricot!
