BABY BLANKET – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece consists of Granny-squares crocheted together. An edge is worked around the blanket to finish.
GRANNY-SQUARE:
Work according to diagram A.1, read COLOR COMBINATIONS and COLOR-CHANGE in explanations above. Work 7 squares in each of the 6 color combinations = 42 squares.
REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE!
ASSEMBLY:
Lay the squares as shown in A.2 (= 6 squares in width and 7 squares in length). The numbers in the diagram correspond to the numbers in COLOR COMBINATIONS.
Crochet together the squares lengthways, then widthways.
Use crochet hook size 4 MM = US 6 and off-white. Lay 2 squares wrong side to wrong side and work through both layers: 1 single crochet around the chain-space in the corner, * 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet around the space between double-crochet groups *, work from *-* up to and including the chain-space in the next corner, work 2 chain stitches (transition between squares) and 1 single crochet in the chain-space on the next square.
Continue like this until a full length of squares has been crocheted together. When all the lengths have been crocheted together, work them together widthways in the same way.
EDGE:
Use crochet hook size 4 MM = US 6 and off-white, starting in one corner.
Around the corner: 1 single crochet, 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet, 3 chain stitches.
Along the sides: * 1 single crochet between double-crochet groups, 3 chain stitches *, work from *-* to the transition between 2 squares.
In the transition: 1 single crochet around the chain-space on the first square, 3 chain stitches, 1 single crochet around the chain-space on the next square, 3 chain stitches.
Work an edge like this around the whole blanket; finish with 1 slip stitch in the first single crochet at the beginning of the round.
Dal secondo giro in poi, non c'e' nessuna catenella tra le maglie alte? solo le 3 negli angoli? Grazie

05.11.2022 - 03:17Hello! I came across a seller on Etsy that is selling your Tutti frutti basket set pattern. He used the same picture you have here on the site. This is not the first free pattern that he has taken and sold for money as I've contacted three other creators just this week. The shop name is HerculesHooks if you're interested in seeing for yourself and taking action.

Grazie
