Hi, A.1, A.2 and A.3 are refering to the diagrams, work A.1 at the beg of row from RS, repeat A.2 and finish with A.3. From WS, beg with A.3, repeat A.2 and finish with A.1. Each symbol represents one stitch/group of stitch - see diagram key. Happy crocheting!

Hei Eva-Lisa.

Crocheted poncho in DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk. The piece is worked with puff stitches. Sizes S - XXXL.

EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- PONCHO - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked back and forth like a scarf and then sewn together to make a poncho. PONCHO: Work 60-72-84 chain stitches with hook size 5.5 mm and with 2 strands Brushed Alpaca Silk (this makes the cast-on edge more elastic). Then work with 1 strand Brushed Alpaca Silk. Then work as follows: Work A.1a over the first 4 chain stitches, A.2a over the next 52-64-76 chain stitches (= 13-16-19 repeats) and finish with A.3a over the last 4 chain stitches. Then work A.1b over A.1a, A.2b over A.2a and A.3b over A.3a. Repeat A.1b/A.2b/A.3b to finished length. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Continue like this until the piece measures approx. 137-145-160 cm, cut and fasten the strand. ASSEMBLY: Lay the finished-edge 41-49-57 cm along the one long-side at the opposite end – see broken line in sketch (the opposite long-side now makes a point mid front). Sew together - make sure that the seam is not tight. |
