Looking at A1 and A2, do you work right to left starting with the green stitch when you begin the leaves?
07.10.2016 - 16:55DROPS Design answered:
Dear Merry D, correct, you start reading diagram at the bottom corner on the right side and read every round from the right towards the left. Happy knitting!

I am having a hard time with the rows once the green colour has been added. Is there any way that you could email me a row by row pattern? Thanks!
09.08.2015 - 02:27DROPS Design answered:
Dear Marlene, insert first your markers (9-12 markers - see your size) then work following diag. A.2 inserting green color, then after A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, dec 1 st at the right side of every marker (= before each marker) every other round until 9-12 sts remain. Happy knitting!

Merci beaucoup
05.04.2015 - 18:59DROPS Design answered:

PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. Pattern in diagrams are seen from RS. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Cast on 84-90-96-102-108 sts with orange on double pointed needles or circular needle size 3.5 mm. P 1 round, then work in stocking st. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 6 cm, insert 1 marker (= rolling edge), now measure the piece from here and work according to diagram A.1. When piece measures 7-8-9-10-12 cm, dec 3-0-6-3-0 sts evenly = 81-90-90-99-108 sts. Then insert 9-10-10-11-12 markers in the piece 9 sts apart. First st after first marker = first st in A.2. Now work A.2, but continue with K and P as in A.1 in the orange section. After A.2 work with forest green until finished - AT THE SAME TIME dec every other round: 1 st on right side of all markers until 9-10-10-11-12 sts remain on needle. Switch to double pointed needles size 2 mm and work 3 cm over these sts for stem. Pull yarn through the remaining sts and fasten. |
