I'll love to make this pattern but I don't understand the diagram A-1 after the round 4. Can you explain writing to me in letters what I have to do after the round 4, please. Thank you for your cooperation. Mrs. Manning

Dear Sylvia, round 5 in A.1 is worked as 2nd round and round 6 as round 3 ... on round 4 work 4-ch-loops with alternately sc in the middle dc on round 3 and a dc in the sc on round 3. Happy crocheting!

Do počátečního kroužku z řo tedy háčkujete 8 KS. Děkujeme za upozornění a přejeme hodně zdaru!

Hej!

Hi after doing the first bit do I turn work over and do all the rounds from that side/WS? Sorry but totally confused with your instructions.
12.02.2014 - 21:20DROPS Design answered:
Hi Ruth, the hat is worked in the round, while the cowl starts with a ch-row that joins in the round, then a round that joins in the round, then turn work and start working rounds back and forth exactly as it is explained in the section "rounds with dc and ch".

So frustrated so please could you help guide the project making beret row by row please
27.01.2014 - 00:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Peppy, in A.1, 1 symbol = 1 st, just repeat around, on round 1 after A.1, you work 4 tr (uk-english) or dc (us-english) in each of the 32 ch-space = 128 tr (UK-english) dc(US-english). Continue with rounds 2 to 11. Happy crocheting!

24.12.2013 - 00:43DROPS Design answered:
Hoi Dorien.

Then work ROUNDS WITH TR AND CH – see explanation above. Continue like this until piece measures 18 cm vertically.
