Row 3: 1 garter st, * K tog YO and slipped st, 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to P * repeat from *-* until 3 sts remain, K tog YO and slipped st, 1 garter st. Repeat row 2 and 3. -------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 89-95 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with beige mix Karisma. P 1 row from WS and continue as follows from RS: 1 GARTER ST – see above, rib K1/P1 until 2 sts remain, finish with K1 and 1 garter st. When rib measures 3 cm, change to off- white. When rib measures 6 cm (adjust so that last row is from WS) change to beige mix and circular needle size 4 mm. Now continue in ENGLISH RIB on next row from RS – see above! AT THE SAME TIME change colour on every 3 cm until finished measurements (adjust so that last row in 1 colour is from WS). REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When piece measures 24 cm (adjust to after 1 stripe), change colour, AT THE SAME TIME continue in rib K1/P1 with 1 garter st each side. Continue in rib for 3 cm. Now work 1 row stocking st in the same colour, AT THE SAME TIME K2 tog across the row. Piece now measures approx 28 cm. Cut thread, pull it through remaining sts and sew hat tog, edge to edge. |
