Short DROPS top with round yoke in 2 threads ”Alpaca”. Size S – XXXL.
DROPS 110-17 |
|
Garter st, back and forth on needle: K all rows Buttonholes: Dec for buttonholes on right front band. 1 buttonhole = cast off 3rd st from mid front and cast on 1 new st on return row. Cast off for buttonholes when piece measures: Size S: 13, 18, 23, 28 and 33 cm Size M: 13, 19, 24, 30 and 35 cm Size L: 13, 19, 25, 31 and 37 cm Size XL: 13, 20, 26, 33 and 39 cm Size XXL: 13, 20, 27, 34 and 41 cm Size XXXL: 13, 21, 28, 36 and 43 cm Decreasing tip-1 (applies to armhole): Make all dec from the RS inside 3 garter sts. Dec as follows before 3 garter sts: K2 tog. Dec as follows after 3 garter sts: Slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso. Decreasing tip-2 (applies to yoke): Dec 1 st by each MT by K 2 tog to the right and to the left alternately of MT. I.e. first dec is made to the right of all MT and second dec is made to the left of all MT. Body piece: Worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 86-96-110-124-138-156 sts on circular needle size 5 mm with 2 threads Alpaca. Insert a Marking Thread (MT) 12-14-17-20-23-27 sts in from mid front each side (marks the sides of jacket). Read all of the following section before continuing! Work 4 rows garter st and continue in stocking st with 5 P sts each side until finished measurements, at the same time after 2 rows garter st cast on new sts each side at the end of every row: 4 sts 1-1-2-2-2-2 times, 3 sts 2-3-2-3-3-3 times, 2 sts 4-3-3-2-3-4 times and 1 st 4-4-4-4-3-2 times – continue to P the 5 outermost sts each, e.i. as you cast on new sts, it will be the 5 outermost of these you need to P. Remember the knitting tension! At the same time when piece measures 6 cm inc 1 st on each side of both MT at sides, and repeat the inc when piece measures 9 and 12 cm. When all inc are complete there are 142-154-170-186-202-222 sts on row and piece measures approx 12 cm where longest. Continue in stocking st with 5 P sts each side (front bands) When piece measures 13 cm cast off for buttonhole on right front band – see above! When piece measures 15-16-17-18-19-20 cm K 3 rows on 12-14-16-18-20-22 sts each side (= 6-7-8-9-10-11 sts on each side of both MT), work remaining sts as before. On next row loosely cast off the middle 6-8-10-12-14-16 of the K sts each side for armhole and now complete each piece separately. Left front piece: = 34-36-39-42-45-49 sts. Cast off to shape the armhole at side – see Decreasing tip-1: 1 st on every other row 3 times = 31-33-36-39-42-46 sts. Piece now measures approx 17-18-19-20-21-22 cm. Slip sts on a stitch holder. Right front piece: Like left front piece. Back piece: = 62-66-72-78-84-92 sts. Cast off for armhole as described for front piece = 56-60-66-72-78-86 sts. Slip sts on a stitch holder. Yoke: Slip sts from right front piece back on needle, loosely cast on 36-41-44-48-52-56 new sts for sleeve, slip sts from back piece back on needle, loosely cast on 36-41-44-48-52-56 new sts for sleeve and slip sts from left front piece back on needle = 190-208-226-246-266-290 sts. Work garter st with 5 P sts on front bands each side until finished measurements, at the same time dec 6-0-7-5-3-5 sts evenly on first row (do not dec on front bands) = 186-208-219-241-263-285 sts. Insert 10 Marking Threads (MT) in piece as follows: First MT after 21-23-24-26-28-30 sts, then the following 9 MT with 16-18-19-21-23-25 sts between each, i.e. there are 21-23-24-26-28-30 sts left after the last MT. Now beg dec for raglan – see Decreasing tip-2 – as follows: on every 8th row a total of 7-6-4-5-3-2 times, then on every 6th row 0-2-5-3-4-4 times and then on every 4th row 0-0-0-2-5-8 times = 116-128-129-141-143-145 sts. Continue until yoke (i.e. piece in garter st) measures approx 16-17-18-19-20-21 cm. K 1 row from RS, at the same time dec 8-15-15-21-21-21 sts evenly = 108-113-114-120-122-124 sts. K 1 row from WS and now cast off loosely from the RS. Assembly: Crochet a border round the whole opening (i.e. round the neck, along left front band, along bottom edge and up along right front band) with crochet hook size 4 mm and 2 threads Alpaca as follows: 1 dc in first st, * 2 ch, skip 1 cm, 1 dc *, repeat from *-*. Sew on buttons. |
