Hej!

Knitting Tension: 20 sts x 26 rows on needle size 4 mm in pattern = 10 x 10 cm. Moss stitch: 1st row: K1, P1. 2nd row: P over K, K over P. Repeat 2nd row. Pattern: See diagram. 1 diagram = 1 repeat. Long version: Cast on an additional 16 sts and inc 10 sts less after the moss st edge = 222-242-262 sts. Inc measurements by armhole, neckline and cast off by 13-16-19 cm. Finished measurements = 72-76-80 cm. Pick up approx 15-20 sts more on front piece edges and make an additional 1 or 2 buttonholes. Increase materials by 50-50-100 g off-white and 50-50-100 g beige. Back and front piece: Knitted back and forth on circular needle from mid front. Cast on 200-204-212 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with off-white, knit 1 row moss st, change to beige and knit 3 cm moss st. Change to needle size 4 mm, knit 1 row stocking st and inc 22-38-50 sts evenly on row = 222-242-262 sts. Remember your knitting tension. Continue in pattern with 1 edge st each side as follows: M.1, M.2, M.3, M.4, M.7 and then finish piece in beige. At the same time when piece measures 34-35-35 cm knit next row as follows: 54-59-64 sts = front piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 106-116-126 sts = back piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 54-59-64 sts = front piece. Now complete each piece separately. Right front piece: = 54-59-64 sts. Dec to shape the armhole on every other row: 2 sts 2-3-4 times and 1 st 1-2-5 times = 49-51-51 sts. When piece measures 45-46-47 cm cast off to shape the neckline on every other row: 3-4-4 sts 1 time, 2 sts 4-4-4 times, 1 st 2-2-2 times and then on every 4th row: 1 st 3 times. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 59-60-61 cm. Left front piece: Like right front piece, but mirrored. Back piece: = 106-116-126 sts. Dec to shape the armhole as described for front piece = 96-100-100 sts. When piece measures 57-58-59 cm cast off the middle 26-28-28 sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 59-60-61 cm. Sleeves: Knitted round on double pointed needles. Cast on 48-48-52 sts on needle size 3 mm with off-white. Knit 1 round moss st, change to beige and knit 3 cm moss st. Change to needle size 4 mm, knit 1 round stocking st and inc 4-4-2 sts evenly on round = 52-52-54 sts. Continue in M.7 (make sure to have a pattern repeat mid upper sleeve). At the same time after the moss st edge inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 4th round a total of 24-24-25 times = 100-100-104 sts. When piece measures 44-44-45 cm cast off 6 sts mid under arm and finish the sleeve back and forth on needle. Cast off for sleeve cap each side on every other row: 4 sts 9 times for all sizes. At the same time when piece measures 50-50-51 cm knit M.9 and finish sleeve in beige. Cast off, sleeve measures approx 52-52-53 cm. Assembly: Join shoulders. Pick up approx 100 to 110 sts along left front piece on needle size 3 mm with beige and knit 3 cm moss st back and forth on needle. Cast off. Repeat along right front piece, but after 1 cm make 6 buttonholes evenly distributed on row. 1 buttonhole = cast off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts on return row. Pick up approx 125 sts round the neckline on needle size 3 mm with beige and knit moss st back and forth on needle as follows: 2 cm beige, 1 row off-white and cast off in off-white. Set in sleeves and sew on buttons. |
