I know it exists somewhere but have not been able to locate it. I am a US based knitter and the sizing chart does not work out for me on the patterns. Where can I find a conversion sizing chart so I can continue to enjoy the patterns.
30.03.2017 - 19:06DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mallory, you will find a measurement chart at the bottom of the pattern with all measurements for each size in cm, taken flat from side to side. Compare these to a similar garment you have and like the shape to find out the matching size. Read more and convert into inches 31.03.2017 - 08:52

Read the entire pattern before you begin! Cast on 129-139-149-159-169-179 sts (inclusive of 4 edge sts towards mid front both sides, knitted in garter st throughout) using both ends of the circular needle (to make sure the edge becomes elastic) with 1 thread of each quality (= double thread). Remove 1 needle and knit 2 rows garter st (1st row = the right side). Knit 2 rows stocking st with 4 edge sts each side in garter. Knit next row as follows from the right side: 4 edge st in garter, M.1 over the next 120-130-140-150-160-170 sts, 1 st in stocking st and 4 edge sts in garter. After 1 repeat of M.1 continue in stocking sts with 4 sts each side in garter. At the same time when piece measures 8 cm, insert 4 marking threads as follows: Knit 17-19-21-23-25-27 sts, insert marking thread before next st (= 1st mt), knit 33-35-37-39-41-43 sts, insert marking thread before next st (= 2nd mt), knit 29-31-33-35-37-39 sts, insert marking thread before next st (= 3rd mt), knit 33-35-37-39-41-43 sts, insert marking thread before next st (= 4th mt), knit the remaining 17-19-21-23-25-27 sts. Remember buttonholes on right front piece! When piece measures 18-19-20-21-22-23 cm inc 1 st after the 1st and 3rd marking thread and before the 2nd and 4th marking thread - see Increasing tips above - on every 4th row a total of 5-5-5-6-6-6 times = 133-143-157-171-181-191 sts. When piece measures 35-36-37-38-39-40 cm knit next row as follows: Knit 31-34-37-41-43-46 sts (= front piece), cast off 8 sts for armhole, knit 55-59-67-73-79-83 sts (= back piece), cast off 8 sts for armhole and knit the remaining 31-34-37-41-43-46 sts. Put the piece aside and knit the sleeves. Sleeve: Cast on 40 sts using 2 double pointed needles size 6mm with 1 thread of each yarn quality (= double thread). Remove 1 needle and knit 1 round on double pointed needles, purl 1 round and knit 2 rounds in stocking sts. Now knit M.1. After 1 repeat of M.1 continue in stocking sts. When sleeve measures 14-14-14-16-16-16 cm inc 2 sts mid under arm on every 4.5-2,5-2-1.5-1-1 cm a total of 5-7-8-10-12-13 times = 50-54-56-60-64-66 sts. When the piece measures 34-33-33-32-31-31 cm cast off 8 sts mid under arm = 42-46-48-52-56-58 sts. Put the sts on a thread and knit the other sleeve. Yoke: Put the sleeves in on the same circular needle as the body where you cast off for armholes = 201-219-237-259-277-291 sts. Now dec as follows (NB! Don’t dec in the 4 garter sts on front piece): Size XS: Knit 8 cm stocking sts, at the same time dec 17 sts evenly on both the 4th and 8th round and 18 sts on the 12h round = 149 sts. Size S: Knit 9 cm stocking sts, at the same time dec 20 sts evenly on the 4th , 10th , and 14th round = 159 sts Size M: Knit 10 cm stocking sts, at the same time dec 22 sts evenly on both the 6th and 12th round and 24 sts on the 16h round = 169 sts. Size XXL: Knit 13 cm stocking sts, at the same time dec 30 sts evenly on both the 6th and 12th round and 32 sts on the 20th round = 199 sts. All sizes: When yoke measures 8-9-10-11-12-13 cm knit next row as follows from the wrong side: 4 edge sts in garter, M.2 over the next 140-150-160-170-180-190 sts, 1 st in stocking st, 4 edge sts in garter. Continue in pattern like this whilst dec as shown in the diagram. After 1 repeat of M.2 there are 121-129-137-145-153-161 sts on needle. Knit 3 rows stocking sts whilst adjusting number of sts to 119-125-131-134-140-146 on the last row (do not dec over the 4 garter sts mid front both sides). Knit 1 row from wrong side and 2 rows stocking sts. Now knit a row of holes as follows: 4 edge sts, K3 tog, *yo, K3 tog*, repeat from *-* and finish with 4 edge sts = 81-85-89-91-95-99 sts left. Knit 2 rows stocking sts, knit 1 row from the wrong side and knit 1 row from the right side and cast off from the wrong side. The jacket measures approx 54-56-58-60-62-64 cm.
