Was bedeutet ab Reihe 11 ein Stäbchen in jedes der nächsten 3-3 (4-4) Stäbchen? Warum 3 bis 3?
23.07.2023 - 23:17DROPS Design answered:

Dear Sheila Marie, sure we do, click on the scroll down menu below the photo to choose either UK-English or US-English (make sure you are choosing the appropriate language as the crochet terminology are different). Happy crocheting!

Can you help with my brim... it doesn’t curl up neatly like the one in the picture, have you added some wire or stiffening to help with this?
08.06.2021 - 20:38DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sue, to make sure the brim sits as it should, you should take care to crochet it very thightly, maybe even using a smaller hook for the last couple of rows. Altrenately, you can decrease a few stitches in the very last row, evenly, and / or you can add a wire before the last row, and crochet the last row around the wire as well. Happy Stitching!

Hello. Please could you suggest why I have a line on the first dc part of the hat where the slip st to finish a row is and a new round is started. Also the centre circle is slightly raises - is the chain circle too small?
20.01.2020 - 22:12DROPS Design answered:
Dear Charlotte, this might be totally right, when you slip stitch to join the round, you can get a line at the transition of rounds, you can make sure it's right by showing your work to your store - even by mail. Remember to check and keep correct tension to get the circle nice. Happy crocheting!

Where are instructions for brim?
18.07.2019 - 23:54DROPS Design answered:
Dear Doris, the brim starts on row 10 after you have worked the dc-groups(US-English)/tr-groups (UK-English). Happy crocheting!

I am on row 6 and the hat appears to be pointed at the top instead of being round and flat. Does it level out as you continue the rounds?
22.09.2018 - 19:56DROPS Design answered:
Dear Valerie, circle should be flat, make sure to increase as explained in the pattern and check your tension. You may also start with a magic circle instead of the ring of chains, this can also help. Happy crocheting!
