Is the rib pattern supposed to be row 1 k3 p1 and then row 2 k1p3? Pattern said row 1 k 3p1 and row 2 p3k1. That's not rib on an even number of stitches. I am doing the xlarge 58 stitches and I'm doing the front.

Hi Christine, The rib is P3, K1 on row 1 and then P1, K3 on row 2 (knit over knit and purl over purl both sides). Happy knitting!

Mvh DROPS Design

I would like to make this sweater and the only yarn I see close to the pattern is Drops Delight blue (print 03) this is wool not mohair so it will give it a different look it also calls for a size 4 needle and the pattern at 10 needle. Do you have another yarn closer to the what the picture looks like, if not would I be doubling or tripling this yarn.Thank you Carole Rehbock

Dear Mrs Rehbock, this pattern is worked with Vienna, ie a yarn group D - you will find an alternative using Delight and Brushed Alpaca Silk here. Happy knitting!

Bonjour. Merci

Please can you clarify the yarn requirements for the sweater as I cannot see there is enough, and it only seems to be one colour . Thanks!

Dear Mrs Bedford, this sweater has been worked with a colour Vienna that had different shades to create stripes itself. Vienna is now discontinued, read more about alternatives here. Happy knitting!
