Hello I am working on the left front and it says to knit to 25cm using chart M1 & M2. I have completed those and still have not made it to 25cm. Do I continue to M3 or repeat M1 again. Also it says after I complete M1 & M2 finish off with green. My question is using what chart or is it just stocking knit stich. On a happy note the pattern is beautiful!
30.05.2023 - 02:33DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mayer, when you have worked M.1 and M.2 in height continue with green in stocking stitch - remember to adjust on back piece so that you will get the same pattern. Happy knitting!

Please can you clarify the instructions for the sleeve on the Flying South pattern, as I have followed them to the best of my ability and the finished item looks nothing like the diagram or picture. Is a line missing between the two sentences "Complete piece knitting back and forth on needle. Cast off to shape sleeve to on every other row: 4 sts 8 times, cast off."? Also, why do i need double pointed needles for the sleeves?
06.03.2023 - 22:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Ratheram, sleeve should be worked in the round on double pointed needles to the sleeve cap, pattern has been edited - for sleeve cap you continue working in rows (back and forth) and cast off 4 sts at the beginning of the next 16 rows (8 times on each side, both from RS and from WS). Happy knitting!

Knitting tension: 20 sts x 26 rows on needle size 4 mm and pattern = 10 x 10 cm Remember needle sizes are guidelines only! Pattern: See diagram (1 diagram = 1 pattern repeat). Diagrams are seen from RS. Rib edge: * K2, P2 *, Repeat from *-*. NOTE: Back and front pieces are knit from side to side back and forth on needle. Pattern back: Knit the same number of rows with green as on front piece. Knit M.2, M.3 (up side down), then knit M.4, M.3, M.2 and finish with green. When piece measures 24-25-25 cm cast off on left side for armhole on every other row: 42-40-36 sts 1 time, 2 sts 4-5-8 times = 52-52-58 sts. At the same time after M.1 knit M.2, then finish off with green. Cast off when piece measures 28-30-32 cm. Right front piece: Cast on and knit like left front piece, but inc and cast off on opposite side. Back: Cast on 52-52-58 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side) on needle size 4 with green and knit pattern as explained above. At the same time inc for armhole on left side on every other row: 2 sts 4-5-8 times, 42-40-36 sts 1 times = 102-102-110 sts (incl 1 edge sts on each side). When piece measures 19.5-21-23 cm cast off 4 sts on left side to shape neckline = 98-98-106 sts. When neck measures 17-18-18 cm (piece measures 36.5-39-41 cm) inc 4 sts on left side = 102-102-110 sts.
