Todella kauniit käsineet ja myssy. Sormien osien neulominen on aikamoista räpeltämistä, mutta tulos on tyylikäs. Tein nämä Fabel langasta, käsialani on sangen tiukka. Kannattaa valita puoli numeroa suuremmat puikot.

Hello! I don’t understand what “k1 m1 on the next 32 stitches” means. (Gloves). Would I k1m1 repeatedly over 32stitches, ending up with 64?

Hi Judith, You begin the round with knit 1, then work pattern M.2 (at the bottom of the pattern) over the next 36 stitches and finish the round with stocking stitch over the remaining stitches. Happy knitting!

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 to M.3. Diagram is seen from RS and shows 1 pattern repeat. -------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked in the round on circular needle and double pointed needles. Cast on 128-144 sts on circular needle size 2.5 mm with Fabel or Flora. Work stocking st for 10 cm and then 3 rounds rib, P1 / K1. Now work 1 vertical repeat of M.1 – make sure to have K over K and P over P from rib (piece so far = lining to be folded towards WS). There are now 144-162 sts on needle – insert a marker, and measure piece from here! Continue in M.2 (= 16-18 repeats across the round). When piece measures approx 11-11 cm – adjust to after 1 full repeat of M.2 – work 1 vertical repeat of M.3. After M.3 there are 128-144 sts on needle. Now complete piece in stocking st. Change to double pointed needles when sts no longer fits circular needle. When piece measures 14-15 cm insert 8 markers in piece with 16-18 sts between each marker. On next round K2 tog before all markers. Repeat this dec on every other round a total of 14-16 times = 16 sts left on needle. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. Hat measures approx 23-25 cm (without lining). Fold lining towards WS and fasten with neat sts. -------------------------------------------------------- GLOVES LEFT GLOVE: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 72-78 sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with Fabel or Flora. K 1 round and then continue in rib K1/P1 for 3 cm. Now continue in rib, K1/5 P (K1 over K1 from K1/P1). When piece measures a total of 5 cm dec 12-13 sts evenly by P tog the first 2 sts in all P-sections = 60-65 sts. Repeat the dec when piece measures 7 cm (= K1/P3) = 48-52 sts. When piece measures 8 cm work next round as follows: K1, M.1 on the next 32-32 sts and stocking st on remaining 15-19 sts. After 1 vertical repeat of M.1 there are 52-56 sts on round. Work next round as follows: K1, M.2 on the next 36-36 sts and stocking st on remaining 15-19 sts. When piece measures 11 cm inc 1 st in the last stocking st on round (= thumb st) = 53-57 sts in total. Continue in pattern and stocking st. When piece measures 12 cm inc 1 st each side of thumb st by making 1 YO – on next round K YO into back of loop to avoid a hole. Repeat the inc on every 3rd round a total of 6-7 times (work inc sts in stocking st) = 13-15 thumb sts and 65-71 sts in total. When piece measures 17-18 cm slip the 13-15 thumb sts on a stitch holder and cast on 4 new sts behind thumb sts = 56-60 sts – work inc sts in stocking st. Continue as before until piece measures 21-22 cm. Now slip the first 28-28 sts and the last 16-19 sts on a stitch holder = 12-13 sts left on needle. LITTLE FINGER: = 12-13 sts, cast on 2 new sts towards hand = 14-15 sts. Work pattern on upper finger as before and stocking st on remaining sts, in the round for approx 5-5.5 cm, on next round K2 tog all the way round. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. HAND: Slip the 44-47 sts on stitch holders back on needle, pick up 2 sts towards little finger = 46-49 sts. Work 3 rounds with pattern on upper hand and stocking st on remaining sts as before. Keep the 2 sts picked up towards little finger + 9-9 sts from upper hand and 5-6 sts from palm of hand on needle. Slip the remaining 19-19 sts from upper hand on a stitch holder and the 11-13 sts from palm of hand on another stitch holder. RING FINGER: = 16-17 sts, cast on 1 new sts towards sts on stitch holders = 17-18 sts. Work pattern on upper finger as before and stocking st on remaining sts, in the round for approx 7-7.5 cm, on next round K2 tog all the way round. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. MIDDLE FINGER: Slip 9 sts from stitch holder on upper hand and 5-6 sts from stitch holder in palm of hand back on needle, pick up 2 sts towards ring finger and cast on 1-2 new sts towards sts on stitch holders = 17-19 sts. . Work pattern on upper finger as before and stocking st on remaining sts, in the round for approx 8-8.5 cm, on next round K2 tog all the way round. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. INDEX FINGER: Slip the remaining 10 sts from stitch holder on upper hand and 6-7 sts from stitch holder in palm of hand back on needle, and pick up 2 sts towards middle finger = 18-19 sts. Work pattern on upper finger as before and stocking st on remaining sts, in the round for approx 6.5-7 cm, on next round K2 tog all the way round. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. THUMB: Slip the 13-15 sts from stitch holder back on needle and pick up 5 sts in edge behind thumb = 18-20 sts. Work stocking st in the round on all sts for approx 5-6 cm, on next round K2 tog all the way round. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. RIGHT GLOVE: Like left glove, but mirrored - i.e. inc for thumb gusset in the first stocking st on round. Work little finger as follows: Keep the first 9-9 sts on needle, slip the next 28-28 sts on a stitch holder (= upper hand), slip the next 16-19 sts on another stitch holder (= palm of hand) and keep the last 3-4 sts on needle = 12-13 sts for little finger. |
