Are the measurements for the complete garment before or after blocking?
02.04.2025 - 16:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Michael, we are not used to block our garment, but should you have any difference before and after, then rather make sure you get the correct tension to get the correct finished measurements. Happy knitting!

Error in BODY pattern (line 4): When piece measures 47-50 (40-42) - - should be 40-42 (47-50). NUMBER PLACEMENT is REVERSED since "Figures in () = Gents" This error shows up also for last page diagram where overall height is shown as 72-76 (67-70) - - AGAIN, NUMBER PLACEMENT is REVERSED -- should be 67-70 (72-76)

Hi Laura, pattern has been checked and is correct like this, men sizes are really numbers in brackets - jumper for woman is longer than the one for men = measurements are right like this. Happy knitting!

I would like to knit the sweater but the yarn is not available anymore. yarn convertor don't give any result that has the same kind of material silk+wool. if I use alpaca will the sweater keep shape? if not what will be best?
22.12.2019 - 20:48DROPS Design answered:
Dear Stephanie! This sweater would look either in wool yarn (like our Karisma yarn), or use the Alpaca that has a wide selection of gorgeous colors. Please don't forget tp always do a gauge swatch and do the recalculations of stitch / row numbers accordingly. Happy Knitting!

There appears to be a patterned strip at the joint between the sleeve and the body. This has not been included in the instructions?
10.12.2013 - 18:51DROPS Design answered:
Dear M Davey, for sleeve, you repeat diagram, you may finish diagram with a different "stripe" as on the picture, it has to do with size worked, gauge and number of rows in height. Happy knitting!
