Har ni satt er in i min frågeställning fullt ut?

Vilken storlek? Vad är inte symmetrisk?

183 maskor varav 6 maskor inte ska räknas in i mönstret blir 177 maskor kvar. Mönstret är på 16 m, 11• 16 är 176! Vad händer med maskan som blir över?
12.07.2021 - 17:07DROPS Design answered:
Hej Inger.

Hi all. Just a quick question. Does the needle size of 4 and 5 refer to 4mm and 5mm circular needles and 4mm and 5mm double pointed needles? I ask, as I have old needles that have these numbers on them and they are definitely not 4mm and 5mm in size! Ta.
27.07.2018 - 11:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Monico, correct, the size of the needle is given in the English pattern in mm. Happy knitting!

Vielen Dank für Ihre Hilfe A.Poggel
15.02.2016 - 16:35DROPS Design answered:

Tension: 17 sts x 22 rows with needle size 5 and pattern = 10 x 10 cm. Remember needle size is only a guide! Pattern: See diagram (1 diagram = 1 repeat). The pattern in the diagram is seen from RS. The whole pattern is worked in stocking st. Ridge (back and forth on needle): 1 ridge of garter st = 2 rows. 1st row: K, 2nd row: K. Ridge (on circular needle): 1 ridge of garter st = 2 rounds. 1st round: P, 2nd round: K. Body: The jacket is worked back and forth on circular needle. Cast on 183 (199-215) sts (incl. 2 x 3 sts for zipper band, these sts are not worked into the pattern) on circular needle size 4 with black and work 2 ridges. Change to circular needle size 5 and work Pattern 1(M1) – after M1 work to complete length with black. Remember the knitting tension. When piece measures 36 (37-39) cm work the next row as follows: 45 (49-53) sts for the front piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 85 (93-101) sts for the back piece, cast off 4 sts for armhole, 45 (49-53) sts for the front piece. Work front and back pieces separately. Front piece: = 45 (49-53) sts. Continue to cast off for the armholes in each side every 2nd row: 3 sts x 1 (2-3), 2 sts x 2, 1 st x 3 = 35 (36-37) sts. When the piece measures 48 (49-51) cm, cast off for the neck every 2nd row: 8 (9-9) sts x 1, 3 sts x 1, 2 sts x 2, 1 st x 2. Cast off when piece measures 58 (60-62) cm. Back piece: = 85 (93-101) sts. Continue to cast off for armholes as for front piece = 65 (67-69) sts. When piece measures 56 (58-60) cm, cast off the middle 25 (27-27) sts for the neck. Then cast off 2 sts on the next row towards the neck. Cast off when piece measures 58 (60-62) cm. Sleeves: Cast on 36 (40-40) sts on double pointed needles size 4 with black and work 2 ridges. Change to double pointed needles size 5 and work M2. After M2 work to complete length with black. At the same time, when piece measures 6 cm inc mid under sleeve: 2 sts x 17 (17-17) on alternately 4th and 5th round = 70 (74-74) sts. When piece measures 45 (43-43) cm cast off 4 sts mid under sleeve and finish work back and forth on needles. Continue to cast off for the sleeve cap in each side every 2nd row: 3 sts x 1, 2 sts x 4 (3-3), 1 st x 4 (7-9), 2 sts x 4 (4-3), 3 sts x 1, cast off. Piece measures approx. 57 (57-58) cm. Assembly: Sew the shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 95-105 sts around the neck on circular needle, size 4 with black and work 2 ridges, cast off. Sew in the zipper – any extra length of zip should be cut off at the top and the upper cm folded double towards WS and sewn down. Sew in the sleeves. |
