I love this pattern but would like to make it in a lighter weight yarn such as Muskat. I can work out the difference in sizing , that's no problem for me but I'm unsure of how much yarn I'll need. Are you able to advise please?

Dear Mrs Frazer, we are unfortunately unable to adjust every pattern to every single request, you can take inspiration from a similar pattern worked in Muskat (or in any other yarn group B) - your DROPS store might be able to assist you, even per mail or telephone, don't hesitate to contact them. Happy knitting!

I would guess that the knitting in the round is "stranded" but what about when you work the front and back separately? Is that "Intarsia"? I would like to know before I buy the yarn cause I can't seem to do Intarsia. Thank you.
23.08.2018 - 20:47DROPS Design answered:
Dear Patti, it depends not on knitting in rows or rounds, but on kind of pattern. Intarsia is used mostly in pictures (like cat, head of horse, snowman etc.). Norwegian or Fair Isle "stranded" patterns are used in stripes during whole width of piece - just like this one. So enjoy you knitting :-)!
