Dzien dobry, mam pytanie do CZESC MIEDZY PRZEDNIMI LAPAMI.

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- RIDGE/GARTER STITCH (worked back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge = knit 2 rows. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. The diagram shows all rows in the pattern from the right side. The pattern is worked in stocking stitch. INCREASE TIP (evenly spaced): To work out how to increase evenly, count the total number of stitches on the needle (e.g. 60 stitches) and divide by the number of increases to be made (e.g. 10) = 6. In this example, increase by making 1 yarn over after each 6th stitch. On the next round work the yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. CASTING-OFF TIP: To avoid the cast-off edge being tight you can cast off with a larger size needle. If the edge is still tight, make 1 yarn over after approx. each 4th stitch at the same time as casting off; the yarn overs are cast off as normal stitches. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER FOR DOGS – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is started in the round with double pointed needles/short circular needle. Then holes are worked for the front legs and the piece is continued back and forth between the legs and over the back. After the leg holes the piece is joined again and worked in the round before casting off for the tummy and finished back and forth. Edges are worked around the front legs and around the opening underneath. NECK: Cast on 48-60-80 stitches with short circular needle/double pointed needles size 4 mm and light grey. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) in the round for 7-8-9 cm. Change to short circular needle/double pointed needle size 5 mm and knit 1 round where you increase 6-12-10 stitches evenly spaced – read INCREASE TIP = 54-72-90 stitches. Purl 1 round. Insert a marker at the beginning of the round; the piece is measured from here. YOKE: Continue in the round with stocking stitch and light grey for 2-3-5 cm. Work A.1 (= 9-12-15 repeats on the round) until the piece measures 3-4-7 cm from the marker. Now the piece is divided for the front legs. BACK PIECE: Work the first 17-23-29 stitches and place them on a thread = 37-49-61 stitches on the needle. Continue back and forth over these 37-49-61 stitches, casting on 1 stitch at the end of the first 2 rows = 39-51-63 stitches. Continue A.1 with 1 edge stitch in GARTER STITCH on each side – read description above, until the piece measures 9-11-13 cm from the division; at the beginning of the last 2 rows cast off the edge stitch on each side adjusting so the last row is from the wrong side = 37-49-61 stitches. Cut the strand. SECTION BETWEEN FRONT LEGS: Place the 17-23-29 stitches from the thread on circular needle size 5 mm; at the end of the first 2 rows cast on 1 stitch = 19-25-31 stitches. Continue with A.1 as before with 1 edge stitch on garter stitch on each side until the piece measures 9-11-13 cm from the division – at the beginning of the last 2 rows cast off the edge stitch on each side, adjusting so the last row is the same row as on the back piece. Keep the stitches on the needle. BODY: Now join the piece as follows: Start from the right side and work the 17-23-29 stitches on the needle, cast on 6 stitches then work the 37-49-61 stitches from the back piece and cast on 6 stitches = 66-84-102 stitches. Work until the piece measures 16-21-29 cm from the marker; when the pattern is completed continue with light grey to finished length. There is approx. 3 cm left under the tummy and 8-11-11 cm along the back. Try the jumper on and work to desired length. Place the first 17-23-29 stitches on a thread (= under the tummy) = 49-61-73 stitches. Continue back and forth with stocking stitch and cast off stitches at the beginning of each row on each side as follows: 3 stitches 1 time, 2 stitches 1-2-2 times, 1 stitch 1-2-2 times, 2 stitches 1-2-2 times and 3 stitches 1 time = 27-29-41 stitches. Place the last stitches on a thread. The piece measures approx. 21-29-37 cm from the marker. EDGE AROUND THE LEG OPENINGS: Use double pointed needles size 4 mm and knit up 48 to 68 stitches with light grey inside the 1 edge stitch around the opening. The number of stitches should be divisible by 4. Purl 1 round. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) for 3 cm. Cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl - read CASTING-OFF TIP. Work the other opening in the same way. EDGE AROUND BODY: Work an edge around the opening from mid-underneath and around the whole opening. Start from the right side, using circular needle size 4 mm and knit up 88 to 104 stitches (including the stitches on the thread) with light grey. The number of stitches should be divisible by 4. Purl 1 round. Work rib (knit 2, purl 2) in the round for 3 cm. Cast off with knit over knit and purl over purl - remember CASTING-OFF TIP. The piece measures approx. 24-32-40 cm along the back and 19-24-32 cm under the tummy. |
