Bon tricot!

INFORMATION FOR THE PATTERN: PATTERN: See diagram A.1. The diagram shows all the rows in the pattern seen from the right side. ---------------------------------------------------------- BLANKET: First work 18 hexagons, which are worked in the round from the middle outwards. Start with double pointed needles and change to circular needle when you have enough stitches. To finish, assemble the blanket by sewing the hexagons together. HEXAGON: Cast on 7 stitches with double pointed needles size 3 mm and Safran – leave a strand length of approx. 20 cm, it will be used to tighten the hole in the middle of the hexagons. ROW 1 (wrong side): Purl 1 row. ROW 2 (right side): * Knit 1, 1 yarn over *, work from *-* 4 more times, knit the last 2 stitches = 12 stitches. Divide these stitches between 3 double pointed needles, 4 stitches on each needle - with the start of the round in the transition between 2 needles. Continue working in the round from the right side: ROUND 1: * Knit 1, 1 yarn over *, work from *-* to end of round – the 5 yarn overs from row 2 are knitted twisted to avoid holes = 24 stitches (= 8 stitches on each needle). ROUND 2: Knit 1 round. Now work pattern A.1 (= 4 stitches) a total of 6 times in the round – i.e. work 2 repeats of A.1 on each needle. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! When the whole of diagram A.1 has been completed, cast off loosely with knit – at the same time, make 1 yarn over in each corner and cast these off as normal stitches – the corners will then be more noticeable. The hexagon measures approx. 31 cm from corner to corner and 26 cm from side to side. Use the strand to tighten the hole in the middle. Cut and fasten the strands. Work a total of 18 hexagons. ASSEMBLY: Lay the hexagons as shown in the sketch and sew them together stitch for stitch. Make sure the seams are not tight! |
