Bon tricot!

Set consists of: Knitted DROPS beret, neck warmer and wrist warmers with multi-coloured pattern in border in ”Karisma”.
DROPS 165-5 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
PATTERN: See diagram A.1 (= beret), A.2 (= neck warmer) and A.3 (= wrist warmers). All diagrams are worked in stocking st. ---------------------------------------------------------- BERET: Worked in the round on circular needle, switch to double pointed needles when needed. Cast on 104-112 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with silver pink. K 1 round. Then work rib = K 2/P 2 for 3-4 cm. Switch to circular needle size 4 mm and K 1 round with silver pink. Then work pattern in the round according to diagram A.1 (= 13-14 repetitions on round), and inc as shown in diagram = 156-168 sts on needle. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION On round marked with arrow A in diagram, dec 22-24 sts evenly (K every 6th and 7th st tog) = 134-144 sts. Continue pattern. On round marked with arrow B in diagram, dec 22-24 sts evenly (K every 5th and 6th st tog) = 112-120 sts. Continue pattern. On round marked with arrow C in diagram, dec 24-26 sts evenly (K alternately every 3rd and 4th st and every 4th and 5th st tog) = 88-94 sts. Continue pattern. On round marked with arrow D in diagram, dec 24-26 sts evenly (K alternately every 2nd and 3rd st and every 3rd and 4th st tog) = 64-68 sts. Continue pattern. When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, continue with silver pink as follows: * K 1 round, then K 1 round while dec 16-17 sts evenly (K every 3rd and 4th st tog) *, repeat from *-* 3 times in total (NOTE: For every round with dec work 1 st less before 2 sts are K tog ) = 16-17 sts. K 1 round. K the remaining sts tog 2 by 2 = 8-9 sts remain on needle. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten. The beret measures approx. 21-22 cm vertically. ---------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: Worked in the round on circular needle from bottom up. Cast on 290 sts on circular needle size 3 mm with silver pink. K 1 round. Then work rib = K 2/P 3. When rib measures 3 cm, dec every other section with 3 P to 2 P (P first 2 stst tog) = 261 sts. When piece measures 4 cm, dec the remaining 3 P to 2 P = 232 sts. Continue rib K 2/P 2 until piece measures 5 cm. Switch to circular needle size 4 mm and K 1 round while at the same time dec 36 sts evenly (K alternately every 5th and 6th st and every 6th and 7th st tog) = 196 sts. Then work pattern in the round according to diagram A.2 (= 14 repetitions on round), and dec as shown in diagram. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, there are 112 sts on needle. K 1 round with silver pink while inc 16 sts evenly (inc after every 7th st) = 128 sts on needle. Switch to circular needle size 3 mm and work rib = K 2/P 2 until rib measures 5 cm. When neck warmer measures approx. 30 cm vertically, loosely cast off with K over K and P over P. ---------------------------------------------------------- WRIST WARMER: Worked in the round on double pointed needles, top down. Cast on 52 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm with silver pink (make sure to avoid a tight cast-on edge). Work rib = K 2/P 2 for 2.5 cm. Switch to double pointed needles size 4 mm and K 1 round while dec 4 sts evenly (K every 12th and 13th st tog) = 48 sts. Then continue pattern in the round according to diagram A.3. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION On round marked with arrow 1 in diagram, dec 4 sts evenly (K every 11th and 12th st tog) = 44 sts. Repeat dec on round marked with arrow 2 in diagram (i.e. K every 10th and 11th st tog) = 40 sts. When A.3 has been worked 1 time vertically, K 1 round with silver pink while inc 4 sts evenly (inc 1 st after every 10th st) = 44 sts. Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm and work rib = K 2/P 2 for 2.5 cm. Then loosely cast off sts with K over K and P over P. Knit another wrist warmer. |
