Dzień dobry, proszę o poradę, czy trzeba wziąć 2 nitki, czyli z dwóch motków włóczki alpaca boucle? Mam wątpliwości, ponieważ ta włóczka składa się z 2 nitek. Z góry bardzo dziękuję za odpowiedź. Pozdrawiam

Please can you advise the best way to crochet with this yarn. It is so tricky with all the little loops.
02.03.2021 - 08:01DROPS Design answered:
Dear Josephine, unfortunately, there isn't a way around, you do have to pay attention, and constatnly adjusting the loops. Also , I found that using a blunter than usual hook may help. Happy Crafting!

Bonjour !
Bon crochet!

I've used the pattern many times with "furry" yarn. it can be hard to work with, but gets easier as you get used to it. And small mistakes go unnoticed! I adapted the ear pattern a bit, and make the arms and legs a tiny bit longer, but that's just my preference. Keeping the tension loose for the first round helps with the magic loop,

This yarn is almost impossible to crochet!! Please any tips how to handle the alpaca boucle?! Can’t see the stitches-just feeling and hoping for best each round. Also, it’s so bobbly that the magic circle is no use as yarn snags and snaps. I see others had similar issues- how do Drops suggest we handle the yarn?
18.02.2018 - 23:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sali, you can first make a ball with both strands Alpaca Bouclé if it can help you. Happy crocheting!

CROCHET INFO: MAGIC CIRCLE: When piece is worked in the round, start with this technique to avoid holes in the middle (instead of ch-ring): Hold the yarn end and wind the yarn one time around the index finger to make a loop. Hold the loop with left thumb and middle finger, place the thread over left index finger. Insert hook through the loop, make a YO and pull thread through loop, work 1 ch, then work dc around the loop. When the desired no of dc have been reached, pull the yarn end to tighten the loop. Fasten the yarn end on the back side. Continue to work in the round in a circle. WORK IN THE ROUND IN A CIRCLE: After last dc on the round, continue to next round with 1 dc in next dc (= first dc from previous round). NOTE: Insert a marker at the beg of round between last dc and first dc on the round, move the marker upwards. WORKING 2 DC TOG: * Insert hook in next st, get thread *, repeat from *-* one more time, make a YO and pull thread through all 3 sts on hook.
