I have just taken delivery of 15 50g balls of Drops Snow colour 54 Dyelot 5495. Why does the yarn keep breaking? I have tried to cast on with the first two balls and each time the yarn has broken before I even get the first row cast on. Is this a fault with this batch of Snow yarn? I'll be unable to knit a sweater with this yarn if all the balls are like this.

Dear Jennifer, Snow is a yarn taht is more loosely spun than most others, in ortder to keep it as soft as possible. Try using a different cats on method, or or try to spun the length of the yarn needed for the cast on, in the opposite direction before casting on. Happy Knitting!
