Dear Sonja, circular needle is used here to work body back and forth, you can use either a 60 or a 80 cm circular needle. Happy knitting!

1r., 1av. gebreid. Graag uw reactie. Bvd. Lammie Okken

The diagrams show the pattern from the RS and English translations for the wording in diagrams are given at the bottom of this pattern and they are given in the vertical order in which they appear in the diagram. Front and back piece: Knitted back and forth on circular needle from mid front with colour change mid back. Insert a MT mid back, and now knit with blue before MT and mint after MT (blue = right side, mint = left side, remember to twist threads when changing colours). When piece measures 12-13-14 (16-18) cm knit red over blue and yellow over mint, but after 1 row knit M.1 on red section and M.2 on yellow section – place patterns 3 sts from mid front. At the same time, when piece measures 15-16-18 (20-20) cm knit next row as follows from the RS: 27-30-33 (36-39) sts = front piece, 54-60-66 (72-78) sts = back piece, 27-30-33 (36-39) sts = front piece. Complete each piece separately. Front piece: = 27-30-33 (36-39) sts. Dec to shape the armhole on every other row as follows: 3 sts 1 time, 1 st 1-2-2 (2-1) times = 23-25-28 (31-35) sts. After the pattern, complete in red on right side and yellow on left side. Cast off remaining sts when piece measures 27-29-32 (35-39) cm. Back piece: = 54-60-66 (72-78) sts. Dec for armhole as described for front piece = 46-50-56 (62-70) sts. When piece measures 25-27-30 (33-36) cm cast off the middle 18-22-24 (26-32) sts for neck and dec 2 sts on neckline on next row. Cast off when piece measures 27-29-32 (35-39) cm. Right sleeve: Cast on 32-38-42 (46-50) sts on double pointed needles size 2.5 mm with blue and knit 3-3-3 (3-4) cm Rib. Change to needle size 3.5 mm and continue in yellow.
