Net dezelfde opmerking als de andere dames hier - dit is gebreid, niet gehaakt!! Zo durf ik dit niet doorsturen naar mijn handwerkvriendinnen :-( Passen jullie dit snel aan aub?

Hi Kathleen, the German pattern is fine, so no problem to tell your friends :)

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagram A.1 (bottom), A.2 (pattern) and A.3 (top). The pattern is worked in stocking stitch. KNITTING TIP: To avoid the knitting tension losing its elasticity when working pattern, it is important that the strands at the back are not tight. Use a size larger needle when working pattern if the piece becomes tight. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- BAUBLE – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The baubles are worked in the round with double pointed needles, bottom up. The bottom is worked first, then the sides with Nordic pattern and finally the top. There are 6 diagrams. Each diagram is worked 2 times with opposite colour combinations (background off-white, pattern red / background red, pattern off-white) = 12 baubles. BAUBLE: Cast on 8 stitches with double pointed needles size 3 mm and your background colour (red or off-white) DROPS Lima – leave a strand-end of 20 cm to close the hole. Work A.1, 4 times on the round. When A.1 is finished there are 48 stitches. Work A.2, 4 times on the round. When A.2 is finished, work A.3, 4 times on the round, with your background colour. When A.3 is finished there are 8 stitches. Cut the strand, leaving a strand-end of 1 metre to crochet the loop with. Thread the strand through the 8 stitches but do not tighten. Tack the strand-end at the bottom of the bauble up and down through the cast-on edge, tighten and close the hole, then fasten the strand well on the inside. Fill the bauble with wadding, then tighten the strand at the top and close the hole. Do not fasten the strand but work the loop with the strand-end. LOOP: Use crochet hook size 3 mm and work as follows: Insert the hook through a stitch at the top of the bauble, pull the strand through, with a loop on the hook. Work 20 chain stitches, then fasten the loop with 1 slip stitch at the top of the bauble. Cut and fasten the strand. |
