Just starting this lovely pattern, when measuring the "Stripe" 10cm do you measure along the sides or from the centre of a row? There is quite a bit of difference in these lengths (nearly 2cms on first stripe). Thank you.
07.10.2019 - 18:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sylvia, you should measure it in the middle of the row, in the direction of the knitting. I hope this helps. Happy Knitting!

How soft or rough is this material? Would it be comfortable again bare skin or scratchy?
08.05.2018 - 06:00DROPS Design answered:
Hi Julia, Delight is a super soft wool yarn, used for socks, cardigans and jumpers, so it will not be scratchy against the skin. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!

I'm about to start knitting this blanket with the beautiful yarn you suggest. When changing colours between stripes do you advise cutting yarn and sewing in ends, or weaving yarn up the side as you go along?
23.03.2017 - 10:52DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Barron, since you are changing colours every 2 rows (every ridge), you can carry along the yarn you are not working with - as shown in the video below. You can also change colour inside the edge sts if you rather - see here. Happy knitting!
