ROUND 1: Work 4 ch (= 1st tr + 1 ch), * 1 tr in ch-ring, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times. Finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 8 loops. ROUND 2: Work 1 dc in 1st ch-loop, * 5 ch, 1 dc in next ch-loop *, repeat from *-*, finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 8 ch-loops. NOTE: Cut the thread in Fabel and fasten it. ROUND 3: With 2 threads Lin or Belle work 1 ch, fold the 1st ch-loop from 2nd round towards you, work 1 dc in 1st tr from 1st round, 4 ch. * Fold next ch-loop from 2nd round towards you, work 1 dc in next tr from 1st round, 4 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 8 ch-loops. ROUND 4: With 2 threads Lin or Belle, work in every ch-loop from 3rd round as follows: 1 dc, 3 tr, 1 dc. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 8 leaves. NOTE: Cut 1 thread Lin and fasten it. Turn piece, work next round on the back of the flower. ROUND 5: With 1 thread Fabel and 1 thread Lin or Belle work 1 ch, work 1 dc at the bottom of the 2nd tr on the 1st leaf from 4th round (i.e. in the middle of leaf's underside), 4 ch. * Work 1 dc at the bottom of 2nd tr on next leaf from 4th round, 4 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 7 times. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 8 ch-loops. Turn piece, work next round on the front of the flower. ROUND 6: With 1 thread Lin or Belle and 1 thread Fabel, work in every ch-loop from 5th round as follows: 1 dc, 2 tr, 1 dtr, 2 tr, 1 dc. Finish with 1 sl st in 1st dc from beg of round = 8 leaves. Cut and fasten the threads. Sew the flower on to the hat. |
