Hej! /Sofia

I totally love this design and would like to recreate it but I got a problem understanding the pattern. In round one it says 3 ch (= 1 dc) and I don't understand that. Do I have to do a dc or 3 ch now?
22.12.2012 - 00:35DROPS Design answered:
Dear Bianca, it means that these first 3 ch will replace 1 dc (the first dc of the round). Happy crocheting !

Bon crochet !

On Round 3 of the Whole Flower Square, end with "ch 3, dc(US)/trc(UK) in top of first tr/dtr group" instead of the chain 6. The last chain/stitch space will now become the first chain space for Round 4 and will eliminate the need for the slip stitches at the beginning of the round (loop is already centered on last ch-space).

The yarn description suggests working with 2 strands. The pattern does not mention this. Should this be worked in single or double strands?
01.04.2012 - 16:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Dianne. This pattern is made with one strand Kid Silk. May I ask where you see that it's worked in two strands?
