Hello, for some reason there isn't any details on this pattern. it says "See diagram M.1 – the diagram shows the pattern from RS." But when you look at the digram you see M1C, MiB and M1D, the question is which Mi do you mean. Also the pattern instruction is not complete :( could please send me the full pattern? Thanks, Sarah

Dear Amy, after K first round, you work one time M.1A, then M.1B until work measure 8-10 cm (see size) and finally 1 vertical repeat of M.1C. Happy knitting !

Diagrammet stemmer. Du starter med 84 masker, en rapport i M.1 A har 21 masker. Man får plass til 4 rapporter. I en rapport feller man 4 masker (feller 6 og øker 2). 4 rapporter a 4 fellinger = 16 fellinger. 84-16 = 68 m.

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 – the diagram shows the pattern from RS. HEEL DECREASES: ROW 1 (= RS): Work row until 7 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece. ROW 2 (= WS): Work row until 7 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece. ROW 3 (= RS): Work row until 6 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece. ROW 4 (= WS): Work row until 6 sts remain, slip 1 st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece. Continue dec like this with 1 less st before each dec until there are 10-12-14 sts left on row. ---------------------------------------------------------- SOCK: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 84 sts for all sizes on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm with Merino Extra Fine. K 1 round and now work 1 vertical repeat of M.1A = 68 sts on round. Continue in M.1B until piece measures approx 8-9-10 cm. Work 1 vertical repeat of M.1C = 60 sts on round. K 1 round, AT THE SAME TIME dec 8-4-0 sts evenly = 52-56-60 sts, and P 1 round, piece now measures approx 9-10-11 cm. Turn piece, i.e. continue from the WS (the above border will be folded double towards RS when sock is completed). Continue in rib, K2/P2, for 2 cm and now continue in stocking st, AT THE SAME TIME dec 8 sts evenly of first round = 44-48-52 sts. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! After 8-9-10 cm in stocking st keep the first 22-24-26 sts on round for heel and slip the last 22-24-26 sts on a stitch holder (= mid upper foot). Work stocking st back and forth on heel sts for 5-5.5-6 cm. Insert a marker in piece. Now dec for heel – see above. After heel dec pick up 11-12-13 sts on each side of heel and slip the 22-24-26 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 54-60-66 sts. Now insert a marker on each side of the 22-24-26 sts on upper foot and continue in the round in stocking st, AT THE SAME TIME dec each side as follows: K tog the last 2 sts before the first marker into back of loop, and K tog the first 2 sts after the second marker. Repeat the dec on every other round a total of 5-6-7 times = 44-48-52 sts. Continue until piece measures 18-20-22 cm from marker on heel (= approx 4-4-5 cm remain). Now insert a marker each side with 22-24-26 sts on upper foot and 22-24-26 sts under foot. Continue in stocking st, AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st on each side of both markers as follows: K tog 2 sts before marker and K tog 2 sts into back of loop after marker. Repeat the dec each side on every other round a total of 3-3-4 times and then on every round 6-7-7 times = 8 sts left on round. Cut the thread, pull through remaining sts and fasten. Fold edge at top of leg double towards RS. |
