Groetjes Anneke Evers

Knitting tension: 23 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm with needle size 3.5 mm and Pattern. Remember needle size is only a guide! Rib: * K2, P1 *, repeat from *-*. Pattern: See diagrams M.1 and M.2. Only the small bobbles in the diagram are worked in Cotton Viscose. Because of this, they need to be worked alternately from the right and wrong side, do not cut the strand after each pattern row because the joins will easily show on the right side when working with viscose yarn. Decrease tip (for neck decreases): All decreases are worked from the right side! Decrease on inside of 3 edge stitches (= 1 stitch garter stitch, K1, P1). Decrease as follows after these 3 edge stitches: Slip 1 stitch, K1, pass slipped stitch over. Decrease as follows before these 3 edge stitches: K2 together. Back piece: Cast on 95-104-113-122 stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side) with needle size 2.5 mm and Silke-Tweed. Work rib for 2 cm - with 1 edge stitch and K1 in each side. Change to needle size 3.5 mm and work M.1 to finished length - start by arrow for your size (1 edge stitch in each side is not worked into pattern) - at the same time, on row 1 increase 1 stitch mid back in sizes M and XL = 95-105-113-123 stitches. Remember the knitting tension! When piece measures 7 cm increase 1 stitch in each side every 6 cm a total of 4 times = 103-113-121-131 stitches - the increased stitches are worked in stocking stitch and Silke-Tweed. When piece measures 34-35-36-36 cm decrease for armholes in each side every 2nd row: 4 stitches 1 time, 3 stitches 1 time, 2 stitches 1-2-3-5 times and 1 stitch 1-3-4-4 times = 83-85-87-89 stitches. Continue the pattern, but there must be at least 5 stitches stocking stitch outermost towards the armholes. When piece measures 51-53-55-57 cm work 1 ridge over the middle 15-17-19-21 stitches, on next row cast off the middle 13-15-17-19 stitches for neck. Then decrease on each side of neck every 2nd row - see Decrease tip: 1 stitch 2 times = 33 stitches left on each shoulder. Cast off when piece measures approx. 54-56-58-60 cm - adjust so that there are at least 3 rows of stocking stitch over the last bobbles. Right front piece (when garment is worn): Cast on 50-53-59-62 stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in the side and 3 band stitches mid front) with needle size 2.5 mm and Silke-Tweed. Work rib as follows from mid front (row 1 = right side): 1 stitch garter stitch, K1, P1, * K2, P1 *, repeat from *-* finish with K1 and 1 edge stitch. When rib measures 2 cm change to needle size 3.5 mm. Continue with M.1 but the 3 band stitches are worked as before - start bottom right in diagram for all sizes (= towards mid front) - at the same time on row 1 decrease 2-1-2-1 stitches evenly on row = 48-52-57-61 stitches. When piece measures 7 cm increase 1 stitch in side every 6 cm a total of 4 times = 52-56-61-65 stitches. Read the whole of the next section before continuing! When piece measures 34-35-36-36 cm decrease for armhole in the side as for back piece at the same time as decreasing towards mid front for neck. Neck decreases: Decrease every 4th row - see Decrease tip: 1 stitch 9-9-11-11 times = 33 stitches left on each shoulder. NOTE: Adjust the pattern so that it is neat, i.e. do not work a bobble right out on the neckline. Cast off the remaining shoulder stitches when piece measures approx. 54-56-58-60 cm - to match the back piece. Left front piece: Cast on and work as for right, but decrease for armhole and neck in opposite side. Sleeve: Cast on 50-50-58-66 stitches (incl. 1 edge stitch in each side) with needle size 3.5 mm and Silke-Tweed. Knit 1 row from wrong side (i.e. row 1 is purl from right side), continue with M.2 one time in height, then work stocking stitch with Silke-Tweed to finished length. At the same time, when piece measures 6 cm increase 1 stitch n each side a total of 17-20-19-20 times for: Size S: Alternately every 4th and 5th row. Sizes M, L and XL: Alternately every 3rd and 4th row = 84-90-96-106 stitches. When sleeve measures 33-31-30-29 cm decrease for sleeve cap in each side every 2nd row: 4 stitches 1 time, 3 stitches 1 time, 2 stitches 4-3-3-2 times, 1 stitch 0-6-8-11 times, then decrease 2 stitches until piece measures 40-40-40-41 cm and then decrease 3 stitches 1 time, piece measures approx. 41-41-41-42 cm. Cast off the remaining stitches. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Crochet edges: Crochet around bottom of sleeves, up both bands and around the neckline. Work with hook size 3.5 mm and Cotton Viscose as follows: Row 1: Work from wrong side so that row 2 is from right side: 1 double crochet, * 5 chain stitches, skip 1 row/stitch, 1 double crochet in next row/stitch *, repeat from *-*. NOTE: At back of neck, skip 3 stitches so that the neck does not stretch, finish with 1 chain stitch, turn piece. Row 2: Work slip stitches to middle of first chain-space, * 5 chain stitches, fasten with 1 double crochet in next chain-space, 5 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in same chain-space *, repeat from *-*. Buttoning: Work 1 button loop on the wrong side behind the ruffle-edge on right front piece, where the neck-decreases begin. Work with hook size 3.5 mm and Silke-Tweed as follows: 1 double crochet, 3 chain stitches, fasten with 1 double crochet 1 cm further down. Sew on 1 button, the same place on the wrong side of the left front piece. Sew in sleeves and sew side and sleeve seams in one go, inside the 1 edge stitch. |
