Wish I could add to the previous statement...are the decreases done over 18 rows or 9 rows....?
28.01.2016 - 22:45DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tompkins, in size XXL you work first dec on the sides when piece measure 9 cm, then repeat a total of 7 times every 4,5 (= work 2nd dec when piece measures 13.5 cm, 18 cm ...). Happy knitting!

Its me again...how would you suggest to decrease a total of 4 sts on a row...2 at the beginning and 2 at the end...3st tog?....or....2 sts tog twice? I'm not sure how you would bind off 2 sts at the end of a row?? any video on how to do that...and I have been knitted for at least 55 years...thanks
28.01.2016 - 20:21DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tompkins, when you dec on the sides of body, you dec 1 st on each side of marker, you can dec as follows: work until 2 sts remain before markr, slip 1 as if to K, K1, psso, marker, K2 tog - you can also work 2 sts between dec as you rather like to. Repeat these dec either side of both markers. Happy knitting!

Working sweater great till back section..XXL size...How can you go from 100 sts to 66.. a difference of 34 sts...when pattern says to bind off 2 sts at beginning of every row 8 times..and 1 st 1time..I think that is only binding off a number of 17sts..? not sure how to produce this statement in the pattern..'bind off to shape the armhole each side at the beg of every row"...please can you help... thanks
26.01.2016 - 22:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Tompkins, bind off for armholes have to be done on back piece on each side, ie at the beg of every row on each side both from RS and from WS: 2 sts a total of 8 times + 1 st 1 time = 17 sts x 2 sides = 34 sts bound off (17 sts on each side). 100 - 34 = 66 sts remain. Happy knitting!
