For the xxl size row setup on the back I am getting the right number of tr's (118) but not only have 4 chains left at the end so don't get to have two separated like the start of the row, am I missing something? Can someone advise as I don't see any errata for this
21.07.2014 - 17:55DROPS Design answered:
Dear Sarah, at the very beginning you crochet a longer chain ( ie 149 ch, incl 3 ch to turn with) and to avoid a tight edge, you will skip ch evenly, ie work as follows: 1 tr in 4th ch from hook, * skip 1 ch, 1 tr in each of the next 4 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 29 times = 118 tr. Happy crocheting!

Dear Mrs Charles, in size L you will shape armhole dec each side (= at the beg + at the end of every row) on every row : 3 dc 1 time, 2 dc 3 times and finally 1 dc 2 times = 66 dc left. Happy crocheting!

In het "open" stuk in het voorpand zijn op de detailfoto duidelijk steeds 4 stokjes te zien. Op de patroon tekening zijn het er 5. Wat klopt?

Het zijn er in totaal 5 zoals er staat in het patroon.

You make an additional dc stitch, which makes an inc. Not inc in the outermost stitch, but the one next to it.

DROPS number 111-20 When crocheting the sleeve what does the instruction "1 exdca dc in the last but one dc each side" mean? What is a "exdca dc"?? That is a new terminology to me. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Karen

When piece measures 33-33-31-31-30-29 cm – less for the larger sizes because of longer sleeve cap and wider shoulder – cast off for sleeve cap each side on every row – SEE DECREASING TIP: 3 tr 1 time, 2 tr 3-3-4-4-4-4 times, 1 tr 0-1-1-2-3-5 times, then 2 tr each side until piece measures 40-41-41-42-42-43 cm, now cast off 3 tr 1 time each side, cut and fasten the thread. ASSEMBLY: Sew shoulder seams, edge to edge. Set in sleeves and sew sleeve and side seams, edge to edge. Sew on the 5 buttons, place them evenly on left front piece and use the gap between 2 tr on right front band as buttonholes. NECKLINE: Crochet 80 to 90 tr round neckline with crochet hook size 4 mm and Muskat. Work 2 rows with 1 tr in each tr, cut and fasten the thread |
