Hei Mette. Du strikker: * 5 rett, vri maskene på høyre p 360 grader slik: stikk høyre strikkepinne bak tråden, ned under arbeidet og opp foran arb, deretter strikkes 5 rett, *. = 10 masker pr bue (ikke 5 masker pr bue). 10 masker pr bue x 19 buer = 190 masker + kantmaskene = 192 masker. God Fornøyelse!

Ik begrijp niet hoe ik de naalden van het lijfje en de naalden van het sierrandje samen op een andere naald moet breien. Kunt u mij dit a.u.b. uitleggen? Vriendelijke groet
26.01.2017 - 16:26DROPS Design answered:
Hoi Ineke.

I am attempting to make pattern drops childrens 8-3 cardigan in muskat. I have no idea how to do the rolled edge as you describe it and cannot find an answer anyplace else. there is not a video on it on your website. also, what does "light stockenette" mean? in my 55 years of knitting I have never heard that term. I cannot find it anyplace on the internet either. nordicmart is CLOSED. thanx in advance.

Dear Mrs Peskin, you will find below a video showing the technique of this edge (make sure to follow your pattern, ie work 5 sts before twisting sts). Happy knitting!

Change to coral and knit the next row as follows: 48 (53-55) sts for the front, attach a marker, 96 (106-111) sts for the back, attach a marker, 48 (53-56) sts for the front. Dec 1 st at each side of the marker (4 sts fewer per row) alternately every 3rd and 4th row 14 (17-17) times = 136 (144-154) sts (make decreases as described above). When the work measures 25 (27-28) cm knit 1 row, decreasing 4 (0-2) sts evenly distributed on the row = 132 (144-152) sts. Put the work aside. Rolled Edge trim: Cast on 192 (212-222) sts with dark pink on larger circular needles and knit 4 rows garter st. Then knit 3 (4-5) rows in stockinette st in light pink. Change to light orange and knit 1 row stockinette st and at the same time, K 2 tog across the center 6 sts in each loop = 135 (149-156) sts. Put the work aside. Body: &&&Hold the needles with the body and the needles with the Rolled Edge Trim in your left hand. With yellow, knit the sts from both the Rolled Edge trim and the sts from the body together as one, decreasing 3 (5-4) sts from the Rolled Edge trim evenly spaced across the front = 132 (144-152) sts. Measure the work from here. Continue in stockinette st keeping the edge st at each center front in garter st. When the work measures 3 (3-3) cm knit the next row as follows: 31 (34-36) sts for the front, bind off 4 sts for armhole, 62 (68-72) sts for the back, bind off 4 sts for armhole, 31 (34-36) sts for the front. Knit the rest of each part separately. Front: = 31 (34-36) sts. Bind off for armhole every other row: 2 sts 1 (2-2) times, 1 st 3 (2-2) times = 26 (28-30) sts. When the work measures 10 (11-12) cm bind off for the neck every other row: 4 (4-5) sts 1 time, 3 sts 1 time, 2 sts 2 times, 1 st 2 (3-3) times. Bind off when the work measures 16 (18-20) cm -- entire length = 41 (45-48) cm . Back: = 62 (68-72) sts. Bind off for armhole at each side every other row: 2 sts 1 (2-2) times, 1 st 3 (2-2) times = 52 (56-60) sts. When the work measures 14 (16-18) cm bind off the center 22 (24-26) sts for the neck. Dec 1 st at each neck edge every other row 2 times. Bind off when the work measures 16 (18-20) cm -- entire length = 41 (45-48) cm . Sleeve: Cast on 40 (40-40) sts with red on larger double pointed needles; join and place a marker at the join. Knit 4 rows garter st. Change to light pink and stockinette stitch. After 3 rows knit Rolled Edge (see instructions above), then knit 3 (4-5) rows light pink in stockinette st. Change to orange. Inc 1 st each side of marker 7 (12-16) times every 8 (6-5) rows = 54 (64-72) sts. When the work measures 27 (30-34) cm bind off 2 sts each side of marker and knit the rest of the work back and forth on the needles. Bind off at each side for sleeve caps every other row: 2 sts 1 times, 1 st 5 (6-6) times, 3 sts 1 time, bind off. The work measures approx. 32 (36-40) cm . Neck Rolled Edge: Cast on 122 (132-132) sts with red on larger circular needles and knit 4 rows garter st. Change to coral and continue with stockinette st but knit the edge st at each center front in garter st throughout. After 3 rows knit Rolled Edge from the right side (see instructions above) = 12 (13-13) loops. Then knit 2 (3-4) rows coral. On the next row K 2 tog across the center 8 sts in each loop = 74 (80-80) sts. Put the work aside. Assembly: Sew shoulder the seams. Pick up approx. 80-90 sts on smaller needles along the right front in the edge sts with coral and knit 2.5 cm seed st, bind off in seed st. Repeat along the left front, but after 0.8 cm make 6 (7-7) buttonholes evenly distributed on the button band (1 buttonhole = bind off 2 sts, inc 2 new sts on the next row). The top buttonhole is placed 2 sts from the neck edge. Pick up 68 (72-76) sts around the neck + 6 sts over each button band = 80 (84-88) sts with orange on smaller needles. Knit 2 rows garter st as follows: 6 sts button band, knit the sts from the Neck Rolled Edge and the picked up sts from the neck together as one (decreasing 6 (8-4) sts from the Neck Rolled Edge evenly distributed on the row), 6 sts button band = 80 (84-88) sts. After this row knit 2 rows garter st with orange over all sts and then bind off. Sew on the sleeves and the buttons. |
