Bonjour.

Bon crochet!

Hi. I am quite new to crochet and although i can do all the stitches, i cannot figure out what to do when it says in row 10" Work 1 tr in each of the first 2-4-5 dc," and "1 tr in each of the next 2-3-4 dc" what does 2-4-5 and 2-3-4 mean? I'm stumped....please help!!
15.07.2015 - 23:37DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Gordon-Graham, the numbers refer to each size, ie when you work 1 tr in the first 2-4-5 dc, it means in the first 2 dc in first size, in the first 4 dc in 2nd size and in the first 5 dc in larger size. Happy crocheting!

Succes!!

Like other users I have found the hat to be a bit too pointy. Still love it though. Made it in ice blue lima and off white kidsilk. I wonder though, the point where I 'close' the current round always has slightly more space than the other stitches, does anyone know of a way to fix that? You can now see a slightly curved line of 'closes' over the back of the hat. thanks!

I have finished the first row with 7 markers placed 14 DC apart. It says to continue in this manner until 7 DC are left. Do I continue moving the stitch markers 14 stitches apart on each subsequent round? I'm confused. . . I get that it's decreasing with each round by 7 but not sure how to do it. Thanks!
16.11.2014 - 23:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Wilson, you continue working 2 dc tog on left side of all markers on every round until you will have 7 dc left. Let the markers follow as you work, there will bee 1 st less between the markers every dec round - and 7 dc are decreased every dec round. Happy crocheting!
