Combine DROPS Fabel and DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk

You can get a soft and hard wearing Yarn Group D thickness by combining 2 of our yarns: DROPS Fabel and DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk.

Below you'll find pictures of several combinations of 1 thread of DROPS Fabel with 1 thread DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk. As you can see, the results vary a lot, depending on how mixed the DROPS Fabel (Yarn Group A) color you picked is and how well it matches with the DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk (Yarn Group C) colour. There are lots of possibilities!

I have started over three times with different needles but with no luck! What am I doing wrong? Does this yarn require special needles and if so what kind?

Bon tricot!
