In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a briar rose. Worked in the round. Crochet 3 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch (replaces 1st dc), in ch-ring work 11 dc, switch to pink and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. ROUND 2: * 8 ch, work back in ch-row as follows: Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, then work 1 dc in each of the next 2 ch, 1 hdcin next ch, 1 sc in last ch. Work 1 sl st in next dc *. Repeat from *-* 11 more times (= 12 times in total) and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 12 leaves. To see the pattern of the flower see: DROPS 147-58
