In this DROPS video we show how to crochet the eyes to the play mouse in DROPS Extra 0-1506. The eyes are crocheted by long single crochet in a stitch 2 rounds below. Crochet like this: Use Color 1 and work 1 single crochet in each of the first 8 single crochets, insert the hook in the next stitch on round 6 (= 2 rounds below), use Color 2 and pull this strand through the stitch, change back to Color 1 and pull the strand through the 2 loops on the hook (= 1 eye/1 long single crochet), work 1 single crochet in each of the next 6 single crochets with Color 1, insert the hook in the next stitch on round 6 (= 2 rounds below), use Color 2 and pull the strand through the stitch, change back to Color 1 and pull the strand through the 2 loops on the hook (= 1 eye/1 long single crochet), work 1 single crochet in each of the last 8 single crochets = 24 stitches. Fasten the Color 2 strand on the inside (wrong side) of the mouse. This mouse is worked in DROPS Lima, but in this video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.
