Pionowe dziurki na guziki

Pionowe dziurki na guziki są wyrabiane w podwójnym brzegu z dżerseju. Ponieważ brzeg ma podwójną grubość będzie za gruby, jeżeli zostanie użyta zbyt gruba włóczka, zalecana jest włóczka z grupy A. W tym video użyliśmy grubszej włóczki – z grupy B – aby łatwiej pokazać technikę. Pozostała część swetra może być wykonana z jakiejkolwiek innej włóczki, jednak brzeg zawsze powinien być wykonany z cieńszej włóczki.
Dziurka jest wyrabiana wokół krótszej długości nitki w kolorze takim samym jak brzeg.
Na podwójnie złożonej nitce umieścić taką ilość oczek, aby zmieścić guzik, zaczynać i kończyć przerabiając 1 oczko lewe.
Następnie nabrać tyle samo oczek, ile zostało wcześniej zdjętych wokół drugiej strony dodatkowej nitki. Po przerobieniu kilku rzędów wziąć 2 końce dodatkowej nitki i przełożyć je przez pętelkę, następnie zacisnąć wokół dziurki, nie zaciskać zbyt mocno, końce nitki zostaną na końcu wrobione.

That's an interesting and neat-looking way to do a horizontal buttonhole, but it sure isn't a vertical one! A vertical buttonhole would be vertical to the direction of knitting, no matter what direction you're working on the sweater.

Dear Mrs Ledermann, the basic technique is explained above the video, you have then to follow the pattern as it is explained for the number of sts for each buttonhole (which depends to the yarn worked, the tension worked, the size of the buttons, etc. ie the pattern you are working on).
