Knapphål, vertikala

Dessa vertikala knapphål är på en dubbelstickad kant. Då det dubbelstickas kan det vara för tjockt med ett garn tjockare än från grupp A, men vi använder ett garn från grupp B för att visa tekniken tydligare. Resten av tröjan kan vara i ett tjockare garn, se bara till att färgmatcha garnet till kanten.
Hålet är byggt upp runt en kort längd av dubbelt extra garn, samma som i kanten.
Sätt så många m som matchar bredden på knappen på extra garnet, starta o sluta med en avig m. Sedan läggs upp samma antal m som ersättning runt den andra sidan på extra garnet. Sticka vidare ett par varv, sedan tag de 2 ändarna på extra garnet och drag genom öglan, och sedan drag åt runt hålet, drag inte för hårt. Fäst ändarna senare.

That's an interesting and neat-looking way to do a horizontal buttonhole, but it sure isn't a vertical one! A vertical buttonhole would be vertical to the direction of knitting, no matter what direction you're working on the sweater.

Dear Mrs Ledermann, the basic technique is explained above the video, you have then to follow the pattern as it is explained for the number of sts for each buttonhole (which depends to the yarn worked, the tension worked, the size of the buttons, etc. ie the pattern you are working on).
