How to sew the jumper in DROPS 183-13 together

In this DROPS video we show you how to sew the jumper in DROPS 183-13 together. We have already sewn one sleeve to the front and back piece and underarm and side seams. Before we sew the last sleeve, we show on a swatch what we mean to sew inside 1 edge stitch (see pink thread). We use DROPS Snow in the video, the same yarn used in the pattern. Hello, I am knitting pattern 236-9, and at the top of the sleeve the instruction is to ‘work the sleeve cap’ back and forth’. Could you explain how to do this? (Does it mean to decrease to make a raglan?). I am knitting on straight needles, so should I just decrease at the edges? Very grateful for your assistance - many thanks!

DROPS Design :

Dear Christine, this pattern doesn't have a raglan. The sleeve cap is the shape at the top of the sleeve and here is worked back and forth with an opening in the mid under sleeve. You work straight, you don't need to work any extra decreases or anything; just continue working the pattern, but back and forth, while the rest of the sleeve had been worked in the round. If you have worked back and forth from the beginning then you don't need to do anything else. Happy knitting!

Hola Robledo, en circular la sisa se puede trabajar del tipo Raglán o canesú redondo para que no haya que coser. Te recomiendo mirar el último catálogo de niños donde tienes vídeos explicativos para distintos modelos que te podrían servir.

In this DROPS video we show how we cast on and increase (YO/hole) to the back of the Snowman jumper in DROPS 183-13. We cast on a much smaller number of stitches than it says in the pattern and knit a mini back piece. Purl from the WS (= the 1st row) and we start with inc / hole pattern on 2nd row. When we have finished the increase to the raglan, we show how to cast on 1 new stitch for armholes at the end of the next 2 rows. We use DROPS Snow in the video, the same yarn used in the pattern.
