INFORMATION FOR PATTERN:

PATTERN:

Doughnut: See diagram A.2.

ASSEMBLY TIP:
The coaster can be embroidered/sewn to be the same on both sides. Sewing strand into the rounds along the way. This also applies when fastening the strands while working.
----------------------------------------------------------

CUP:
The piece is crocheted back and forth from the bottom of the cup and up to the edge of the cup. Thereafter crochet the handle. Afterwards crochet the brown top and finish with a little edge from the handle.

Begin with hook size 4.5 mm and moss green or grey blue and work pattern back and forth according to diagram A.1. Switch colour at the star, and switch back to moss green or grey blue after this row. Work last row with this colour from right to left side. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.1 has been worked, cup measures approx. 11 cm vertically and 14 cm in width (with handle). Fasten off.

----------------------------------------------------------

DOUGHNUT:
The piece is crocheted in the round from the middle and outwards. Thereafter embroider some small stitches for decoration on the doughnut.

Work 14 chain stitches on hook size 4.5 mm with medium pink, shocking pink or brown and form a ring with 1 slip stitch in first chain stitch. Then work pattern in the round according to diagram A.2b 2 times in total on round - diagram A.2a shows how rounds begin and end and is worked in addition to A.2b. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When entire diagram A.2a and A.2b have been worked, coaster measures approx. 12 cm in diameter. Fasten off - read ASSEMBLY TIP above.
