DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 4.5 mm – or size needed to get 17 treble crochets = width 10 cm.

PATTERN:
Cup: See diagram A.1.
Cupcake: See diagram A.2.
COLOURS 1 (applies to cupcake):
CAST ON + ROUND 1: Light pink
1ST COLOUR CHANGE: Shocking pink
2ND COLOUR CHANGE: Dark beige
COLOURS 2 (applies to cupcake):
CAST ON + ROUND 1: Shocking pink
1ST COLOUR CHANGE: Strong yellow
2ND COLOUR CHANGE: Dark beige
COLOURS 3 (applies to cupcake):
CAST ON + ROUND 1: Red
1ST COLOUR CHANGE: Light pink
2ND COLOUR CHANGE: Dark beige

CUP:
The piece is worked back and forth from the bottom and up to the rim of the cup, then work the handle and finish with the edge of the cup and the foam.
Begin with hook size 4.5 mm and raspberry or heather and work pattern back and forth according to diagram A.1. Switch to brown at first star, i.e. after handle has been worked. Switch to off white at next star, i.e. after a row with brown. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.1 has been worked, cup measures approx. 11 cm vertically and 14 cm in width (with handle). Fasten off.

CUPCAKE:
The piece starts with the berry that is worked in the round, then work back and forth to the bottom.
Begin on hook size 4.5 mm and work pattern in the round, then back and forth according to diagram A.2 - read COLOURS above. Switch colour at first star (i.e. after first round). Then work back and forth and switch colour at next star. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! When A.1 has been worked, cupcake measures approx. 12 cm vertically (with berry) and 11 cm in width. Fasten off.

Thank you for the pattern! I'm a beginner and I really like the diagram patterns because the written ones are totally confusing for me.
